CONCLUSION

Architecture is a fundamental discipline that has fulfilled the basic needs of humanity for many years, providing not only shelter but also contributing to the mental and physical well-being of individuals by creating appropriate and quality spaces that foster socialization and interaction. This thematic portfolio delves into the concept of social interaction through horizontal connections within three different scale projects. The context of the project is a crucial element in the design process, shaping the masses and features of the project to connect and function in harmony. Establishing a strong relationship with the surrounding environment and people is essential in creating social interaction within the project, and this can be achieved through horizontal circulation. As renowned architect and urban planner Jan Gehl has famously said, “Only architecture that considers the human scale and interaction is successful architecture.”
