OUR PHILOSOPHY Property is Acorn’s passion and since 1995 we’ve made our mark as an urban specialist, changing the face of areas through innovative regeneration and exciting new architecture, above all creating the kind of space people want to live, work and spend time in. Acorn has played a key role in the regeneration of london’s south bank, in particular the bermondsey street area. in the mid 1990s this forgotten part of south east london comprised mostly of vacant or redundant industrial buildings, many of which were contaminated due to their use as tanneries in the 19th and early 20th centuries. now the area comprises of a mixture of stunning new build mixed-use developments and refurbished victorian warehouses providing a thriving centre for modern businesses employing hundreds of staff and providing homes for a new generation of south bank residents.
