Presentaciones Empresariales, innovador espacio de negocios Business Presentations, innovative networking space Una de las novedades presentadas en esta edición XIV del Congreso Mexicano del Petróleo (CMP), fue la exhibición directa de productos y servicios por parte de empresas, que enriqueció la oferta y aumentó la probabilidad para alianzas de negocios. One of the novelties presented in this XIV edition of the Mexican Oil Conference (CMP, by its acronym in Spanish), was the direct exhibition of products and services by companies, which enriched the offer and increased the likelihood of business alliances.

l CMP no solamente se consolidó como el evento anual de la industria petrolera, sino también confirmó su etiqueta de espacio de vanguardia, con la celebración de encuentros de negocios “face to face”. Las Presentaciones Empresariales fueron espacios de diálogo entre un exponente y un expositor, con objetivos de enriquecer, por una parte, la oferta de servicios y productos de la compañía que expone y, por el otro, brindar a los asistentes información trascendental para evaluar su cartera de clientes, proveedores o posibles socios de negocios. Se trató, justamente, de llegar a la esencia del negocio, de generar sinergias y contactos “face to face” con quienes toman decisiones para la compañía. Aprovechando que el CMP es un evento que atrae a miles de visitantes de México y el extranjero, se implementaron estas

he CMP not only consolidated itself as the annual event of the oil industry but also confirmed its avant-garde label, with the holding of face-to-face business meetings. The Business Presentations were spaces for dialogue between an exponent and an exhibitor, with the objective of enriching, on the one hand, the offer of services and products of the company that exhibits and, on the other, provide attendees with transcendental information to evaluate their portfolio of customers, suppliers or potential business partners. The idea was to get to the essence of the business, to generate synergies and face-toface contacts with those who make decisions for the company. Taking advantage of the fact that the CMP is an event that attracts thousands of visitors from Mexico and abroad, these new business contact strategies were implemented between those who attend, to keep abreast of scientific advances in the industry, and those who are evaluating investment strategies and projects.

It was the first time that this type of dynamic was carried out, and the response exceeded expectations, both in terms of the number and level of participants, as well as of those who spoke. Given their success, they will surely be, with the passing of the editions, one of the referent spaces of the CMP, both for the national and international oil community. Mexico, a reliable bet Some of the most common inquiries among attendees to the Business Presentations were directed to the business expectations of those who presented their offers. The response was practically unanimous, as all exhibitors expressed their confidence in the Mexican market, have a long-term vision in the business and know that cycles are common in any economy in the world. Throughout the presentations, the exhibitors shared with the attendees a series of possible advantages that they would obtain as a result of investing in them, but, above
