Nearly 700 walkers turned out at John Rudy County Park in York on Sept. 15 for the York Heart Walk. The event raised more than $58,000 for the American Heart Association (AHA). News personality Brittany Garzillo hosted the Heart Walk opening festivities, which included health information, blood pressure checks and CPR demonstrations courtesy of WellSpan

Health and UPMC, children’s activities and healthy snacks. Among the participants were 2-yearold Bristol Miller and her parents, Josh and Leah Miller, of Airville. In March 2018, then-14-month-old Bristol suffered a pediatric cardiac arrest.
