The second annual History and Outdoors Night will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the cafeteria at Dallastown Area Middle School, 700 New School Lane, Dallastown, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. During the event, students will present projects related to historic events on various topics for everyone, with activities for intermediate school students and older. Asaph Teaching Ministry will present a fundraising concert at Chapel Church, 3050 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion, at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3. Andrew Stump, president and Haitian missionary of Asaph Teaching Ministry, will present “Island Stories” with the Asaph orchestra. Stump has served in Haiti as a missionary since 1992. For more than 10 years, he administrated a Christian primary school sponsored by Water for Life. One of the students who was educated at the school, Courtois Erntz, has spent the last nine months in Green Bay, Wis., as part of an agricultural exchange program. Erntz will perform in the concert and share stories about his life and the work of Asaph Teaching Ministry in Haiti. Church Slates Rally Day Service Prospect United Methodist Church, 8 Orchard Road, New Park, will hold its annual Rally Day service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3. The Itzels will provide the musical entertainment. A freewill offering will be received, and CDs and other materials will be available for purchase. The Itzels - Bill and Karen and their children, Jessica, Ryan, Shannon, and Siri - have been touring full-time for almost 30 years.
