All 13- to 18-year-olds may attend these sessions, which will be held on Zoom on Fridays, May 14 to 28, from 4 to 5 p.m. In addition to discussing various topics, the program series will give teens an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers. Richard P. Murry, Auctioneer AU-000-649L 717-790-2240 - e-mail: richmurry@epix.net www.richardmurryauctioneer.com Serving The Auction Profession For Over 60 Years

The Dauphin County Library System has posted several efforts. The library system is participating in ENGINE of Central PA’s Remake Learning Days. Through Sunday, May 16, families can visit any of the library system’s eight locations to pick up a STEAM Punks Take and Make kit. Remake Learning Days events are designed to be hands-on, relevant, and engaging educational experiences for children from prekindergarten through high school and their families, caregivers, and educators. More information is available at www.remakelearning days.org/centralpa. By participating in a Remake Learning Days of Central PA event hosted by ENGINE of Central PA and completing a post-event survey, families with a student entering kindergarten through ninth grade will have the chance to win a spot in a one-week summer camp at Discovery Space or Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts. Additionally, the library system has partnered with Hamilton Health Center

Ministries” on Facebook. For more information, contact director of development Amy Starr at 717-236-5508, ext. 117, or development@paxtonmin.org.

Historical Society To Host “Wash Day” Program The Hummelstown Area Historical Society’s monthly general meeting on Monday, May 17, will include a presentation titled “Wash Days.” The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Parish House, located at the corner of Rosanna Street and North Alley. The presentation will focus on how clothes were washed years ago before electric appliances. Monday was Wash Day in Hummelstown, with tools for this task including galvanized tubs, wash boards, bluing agent, lye bars, and clothes lines. Some people had a wringer washer.

Vietnam in 1966 and 1967. Aleman started riding in rodeos when he came back from Vietnam. By the time he was 38, Aleman had been through two marriages and several relationships in between. He had participated in rodeos, worked construction, and driven trucks, and he had also been introduced to illegal drugs. In July 1984, Dusty left Texas and moved to Oklahoma hoping to start a new life. In September 1984, Dusty attempted twice to take his life, but he realized God had other plans for him. In October, Dusty met Myrna and they were married the following year. In 1989, Dusty found Jesus Christ. In his life before Christ, Dusty had sung in dances, clubs, and bars. He loved to sing, and he realized he needed to sing about Jesus Christ. For more information about the church, visit www.grace chapelcares.org.
