Submissons Sought For Annual Publication Submissions are currently being sought for Wild Onions, the annual literary and arts magazine published by the Penn State Hershey Humanities Department. The publication features creative expression by individuals connected to Penn State Hershey Medical Center, including but not limited to patients, students, family members, and volunteers. Original literature, photography, and art submissions are currently being accepted. Each year, a theme is provided as a suggestion, not a requirement; this year’s
theme is “Life Is a Beautiful Origami.” In origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, a flat sheet of paper is transformed into a sculpture. Individuals may participate by contributing their work, attending the annual launch reception, or enjoying the final product. To submit a creative piece to be considered for publication in the 2019 edition of Wild Onions, readers may visit http:// sites.psu.edu/wildonions/. Student editors will review the selections.
