Welcome to Naidex!

National Accessibility, Inclusion & Disability Expo

Running for 50 years, Naidex is the UK’s biggest and most established event for the disability community, welcoming thousands of attendees annually to get together to meet up with friends, make new connections, browse products and services for independent living, share experiences, and work to remove barriers for an inclusive society, accessible to all.

Naidex began in Brighton in 1973 as a small exhibition and conference. It aimed at providing a forum for discussion and an opportunity for disabled people and those who work in the community to discover available support, products and resources. Fast forward 50 years and what a journey it’s been. From a one-day seminar for 300 people to an event hosting thousands of people.

Discover solutions from mobility to accessibility, attend live demonstrations and try out products for yourself! There’s nothing quite like live events, giving you the opportunity to find and test a piece of equipment that could make your day-to-day that much easier.

As well as the expert exhibitors on offer this year, we have a host of fantastic features. The Village Green offers an area to relax and reflect on the day whilst watching or participating in some fun activities! Take on the adaptive climbing wall or try out mobility aids on the Mobility Test Track!

Whether that be cooking up a storm with Mr Cookfulness, listening to some live music with the Music Man Project, or getting involved in a dance workshop with Kate Stanforth, there’s sure to be something for you.

Finally, Naidex couldn’t be without its interesting and educational CPD accredited seminar agenda, featuring celebrity interviews, thought-provoking panel discussions, and informative case studies.

We’d like to thank all of you who have supported Naidex over the years. This event is made with our community at the centre, and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store over the next few days.

The amazing teams from the Outdoor Education Company and AnyoneCan will first have a chat and make a quick assessment of anybody that would like to try climbing so they can figure out the best way for you to attempt to scale the wall.

This could be anything from a traditional harness with additional roped support, through to their ‘para harness' suitable for wheelchair users. If you want to get to the top, they can probably get you there! The Climbing wall is free to try.

Mobility Test Track

The much loved Mobility Test Track is back. The track will include a variety of artificial off-road terrain, ramps, and obstacles in order to gauge manoeuvrability and suspension across all brands of scooter, wheelchair and powerchair available at the event. This provides visitors with a true representation of product performance before purchasing. There will be a list of companies whose products you can try on the track at the event.
