We have been enthralled with all the excitement of fashion week in New York City, New York, USA. SL has its own version and of course, E N V Y Magazine Models give you a taste of the Fall Fashion Trend for 2016: Fur, Tinsel and Metallics! You know it’s time to cuddle and start making those prim babies when the fur comes out! You’ll really want to check them out especially to see the new introduction of Pose Talk, a new pose maker with exceptional editorial poses! We also are very happy to partner with Model’s Workshop. In doing so, E N V Y will now cover Model’s Workshop events including the Monthly Styling Challenge. Stay tuned for the next styling challenge scheduled for September 21st at 5pm SLT! The September round of SWANK opened on September 7th. You can see what some of the models came up with using the fabulous finds at SWANK to style themselves. Click on the SWANK logo anywhere you spot it for a direct link to the event floor. Start finding some great deals for your home and closet before the event ends! On a few personal notes, E N V Y Magazine’s Scott Nobody will become a full time photographer with E N V Y, and will retire as its Executive Editor in Chief. We have enjoyed immensely in executive chats Scott’s talents, and his sense of humor. I think he is the funniest when he’s sleep deprived! But, here’s to a well-deserved rest and rejuvenation to Scott! Thank you Scott and we are all very thrilled to still work with you! Sigma Upsilon Nu When you think of the word "sorority", what comes to mind? What may come to mind to many are women having wild parties. Well, what if I told you that a sorority exists where they like to have fun but also help people? Intrigued? Then read on to find out about this amazing Sorority and one of the women behind SL Sorority Sigma Upsilon Nu! Sararelisebeth Brenham (SB): How did you first hear about Second Life? Cleopatra Kellman (CK): I was introduced to SL from someone who was playing. This was about 9 years ago. SB: What was your first year on Second Life like?
CK: I was the typical noobie until I met my SL sister who taught me about AOs and freebie land and she bought me my first skin. Back then, the skins were horrible for anyone wanting a Black avatar. Once I found out I could "work" I had my first job at Phat Cats as a hostess. After about 6 months, I went to work at a place called Hot Tropics as the sim manager. 26 - E N V Y MAGAZINE

SB: What inspired you to start Sigma Upsilon Nu? CK: In 2010, after I left a former sorority, my sister Angel McMillan and I were asked to start our own organization. So, it was something that wasn't planned but we knew that we wanted an organization that was true to the meaning of sisterhood. Something that was open to all types of diversity which would cultivate unity and excellence amongst one other. SB: I understand that your sorority supports several charities. Could you tell me a little about that? CK: We have two charities that we support financially. One is lupus because it is a disease that effects 90% of women and of that 90%, the largest group are women of color. It is one of the most misdiagnosed diseases because it mimics other diseases or conditions such as fatigue, mono, and cancer. The other is our Angel Tree, we pick a family or cause to raise money for starting in November. SB: What do you feel makes your sorority distinguished from the others? CK: I can only speak for our organization....we are one of the oldest sororities on the grid that has been active the full 6years. We do not role play being sisters as many of us know each other off the grid. We go as far as having a benevolence fund for Sorors who have a need, or in the passing of a family member. I'd like to thank Ms. Kellman for not only taking the time to talk with me, but also opening my eyes to what a true sorority should be like.

KP: You're so welcome! What is this look? Is this Edgy Punk? Sarah Tremor: Well, most of my creations are slightly provocative in the way of "accidentally sexy", but not without class. And almost any of it is mix and match. KP: Which is super important! I hate not being able to mix and match! Now, the name of your store? *Kiett tries to pronounce it using a German accent* EDELFABRIK Sarah Tremor: laughs at Kiett’s accent....[Adele-fabric] :). KP: Where'd you get the name from? *laughs at herself* Sarah Tremor: Yes, thats a German word, a 2 word combination it means "noble factory"
KP: I wasn't too far off track! German! *pats herself on the back* Are you German? Sarah Tremor: Yeah, I am German. *laughs* KP: Guten! I love my Germans! I think in your style, it is very modern German and street style Tokyo to me - very sexy, very creative and unique!
