SATURDAY NIGHT PLAN Saturday was the last day. I knew it because it appeared on TV and because people ran swirling around. Who knows what to do in this situation if it has never happened before? We were advised with prophecies or eclipses, but that was incredible. I looked out the window. When you’re paralyzed, you may always copy the rest, like when you order the same as the couple next to you. The crowd was giving me not very good karma, shouting and jumping everywhere, so I decided to do nothing. It didn’t seem a good plan to leave home that night...

IT MAY HAPPEN TO YOU She switched on the TV ready to watch the news and find a peaceful moment after an exhausting long day out. But things wouldn’t go as expected. She couldn’t believe her eyes. It couldn’t be true. Those were the sort of news usually connected to poor
people
in
a
poor
country, people whose daily routine doesn’t go beyond the struggle against poverty and the lack of food and water but not to families living
in
modern
houses,
driving brand-new cars and wearing western clothes... That day the whole planet said a little prayer for the Land of the Rising Sun.

AN ENCOURAGING DREAM DREAM Some time ago I had a dream. I was lying awake in my bed for hours. My future was the reason for this. this. Suddenly, a gentle breeze came into my room and I started to feel a pacifying sense. My heart began to beat slowly and my eyelids were dropping. When I finally opened my eyes, I was in a majestic sailing ship in the middle of a storm. The cloudburst had caused great damage. Despite everything, the boat continued sailing. Eventually, it put into port. I have learned a really positive thing: “Never “Never again will I give up hope”. DIONISIO BARRIOS GARCÍA FIRST PRIZE – NIVEL INTERMEDIO

SHARING MY LIFE The lights go off. It was a depressing party. Only a computer is on. It’s my Mac. Everything happened

A MISUNDERSTANDING IN THE VILLAGE The village priest saw some initials engraved on the wall of the church, AIT,
in
the
postwar and an ironfisted dictatorship, he thought in a scab and he
associated
these
initials with the International Workers Association. Then he called the Civil Guard and they arrested people who were there. Later, a van stopped there, a man got out and put a ladder on that wall, a Civil Guard approached and asked him if he knew the meaning of these initials. “Yes, sir, I engraved them a month ago when we installed the electricity here. It's my name, Angel Iranzo Temporal”.
