Freezer Reconfiguration – Layton, Utah: Concept design and Capital Appropriation Package development for a re-rack project for a 100,000-square-foot FDIC (Frozen Dough – Ice Cream) freezer.

Architecture and engineering design services for a new 396,000-square-foot multi-temperature distribution facility. The facility includes -20°, 0°. and 34° spaces, and ambient and cold docks.
Epstein worked with AAFES’ material handling consultant to define the facility requirement and also provided cost guidelines for the major project components.

WASHINGTON, DC
Architecture, engineering and LEED consulting services for this 122,000-square-foot regional food storage and distribution facility. This center is capable of distributing over 33 million pounds of food each year.
Testa Produce
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
Design, civil engineering and LEED consulting services for the new 91,300-square-foot LEED-NC Platinum headquarters and produce distribution facility located in the old Union Stockyards complex in Chicago, Illinois. Facility features a 7,600-square-foot 0° freezer, 24,700 square feet of cooler space, approximately 39,000 square feet of dry warehouse, and 40 truck dock positions on two refrigerated cross docks.

CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO
Full architectural and engineering design services for this 29,630-square-foot fruit and vegetable distribution center. The building features 25 foot clear height storage space and is refrigerated to a mixture of temperatures.
