Headwaters Community Housing Trust is working with employers to help members of Bozeman’s workforce overcome this hurdle so they can purchase a home and remain and thrive in our community. • Total down payment assistance of up to $100,000 is available with a oneto-one match, e.g., $50,000 from employer, up to $50,000 provided by Headwaters Community Housing Trust. • Employer’s investment can be structured as a low- or no-interest loan repaid at time of resale. • Employer can also structure their loan to be forgiven if the employee continues with the business for a certain number of years. • Headwaters’ match is structured as a no-interest loan (no interest payments, no principal payments during ownership of the home. Principal is repaid at time of resale).
