Southwest Montana is returning to more balanced market conditions. Although prices continue to increase year over year, the rate at which they are increasing has eased with the exception of the Big Sky market. Inventory levels in general are very similar to this time last year. It is always wise to consider that real estate is a hyper-local transaction and every geographic location and every price point has a different rhythm and pace. The Gallatin valley continues to thrive with many new residential and commercial developments. Big Sky is a top destination resort with exciting restaurants and boutique shopping. Livingston is retaining its western charm blending vibrant arts with a mix of permanent and seasonal residents. Ennis with its outdoor adventurers is growing with ownership trending to be year round.
