Southwest Montana has been discovered and market conditions are changing rapidly. The last 6 months have seen a slight softening of the market, however we still have a shortage of inventory in most price segments. New developments in Bozeman are coming (check out Bridger View on page 22) but more are needed to keep up with existing demand. Big Sky is developing into a top destination resort with exciting restaurants and boutique shopping. Livingston is retaining its western charm blending vibrant arts with a mix of permanent and seasonal residents. Ennis with its outdoor adventurers is growing with ownership trending to be year round.
