Lynette Cauley's Customer Experience Lynette Cauley from our ERA Wilder Realty downtown office was able to leave her clients happy even after they had to adjust their original plans for their home. Their house had been on the market for over a year and had not sold yet, but with Lynette's help they were able to instead find a renter willing to sign a year's lease. Not only did they thank her by sending a 'Thank you' card, but they also included a gift certificate to really show their appreciation. View the thank you note she received here

Writing That Makes Them Want to Buy The words: Features and Benefits, may seem like the same thing but when dealing with real estate marketing they have different meanings. To break it down using a simple food analogy; Features are the cake, while benefits are the icing and you don't serve one without the other. When trying to convince customers to make a purchase you need to not only tell them features but also spell out their benefits.

It's Not About You In real estate transactions you must always keep in mind that it is your purpose to simply help your client/customer navigate through the home buying process. Do not get emotionally attached to the transaction. Remember "It's not about me...I already have a house!"

2. Set A Schedule The beauty of what we do for a living is that there is no one telling us what to do or when to do it. The curse of what we do is that there is no one telling us what to do or when to do it. As a result of this we often become idle and don't do all that we can to generate enough income to make a living. Put yourself on a schedule to keep a constant work pace.
