The Ramp Hotel
An experience design concept partners Sheraton Hotel and Stussy Clothing (Surfing/ Skating/ Sport apparel, Urban street wear). Meant to attract Generation Y and people interested in urban street culture. The Ramp Hotel includes a wave pool and skate ramp for social recreational interaction, rather than traditional swimming pool and tennis courts.
Stussy started off as a clothing company that targeted surfers because of the impact it had as a trend during a certain time period. Stussy produces clothing that fits according to the environment it sits in. With trends constantly changing, it follows and produces new styles that would most likely compliment and fits in.
Sheraton Hotels and Resorts is Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ largest and second oldest brand (Westin being the oldest). Starwood’s headquarters are in White Plains, New York.

The Ramp Hotel will geared towards generation Y or culture that love to experience new urban adventure. The Ramp Hotel acts as not only a place to stay, but a destination in itself. Guests go not only for the destination, also because they want to stay in The Ramp Hotel for other social space. Gen. Y are mostly night-owls, they like to be able to get what they want when they want, especially after a late night, So a 24 hour restaurant will be provide.

In the 1970s, these buildings started to became popular with the L.A. Art Community, and artists began buying and renting the buildings for their potential as art lofts. By the turn of the 21st Century, the popularity of the neighborhood started attracting more wealthy residents looking for the “artist lifestyle.� However, many of the new residential developments of the 21st century have been done by traditional real estate developers, as opposed to artists themselves.
With a choice of more than 50 Sheraton Resorts at enticing destinations including Argentina, Australia, Egypt, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Hawaii, California, Florida, Arizona, Tahiti and the Fiji Islands, leisure travelers can plan the perfect vacation.
