WELCOME It is hard to believe that after more than a year of steady planning, Your Best Pathway to Health-San Antonio is finally here. The “Road to San Antonio” has not been easy and in many ways has been a living testimony of the Great Controversy between Christ and Satan lived out in each of our lives. This battle has not been fought by human strength but by dependence upon God through much fasting and prayer, perseverance, and in pressing together. The “Road to San Antonio” began with the miraculous free usage of the Alamodome and the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center as generously donated by San Antonio government’s, MetroHealth. This amazing miracle was followed by many unexpected difficulties and trials. During these difficulties many of you earnestly prayed, and true to His Word, the Lord’s mighty arm was moved and He answered your prayers in the most astounding ways. Some of these miracles included placing various individuals within the Your Best Pathway to Health (YbPTH) administration’s path just at the right time, to accomplish His will, similar to the story of Esther and Joseph. Although, the “Road to San Antonio” has been, in many ways, very difficult, it has been a blessing, as the Lord has used it to teach all of us how to have the “Faith of Jesus.” Each of you has sacrificed greatly of your resources, time and effort in using “Christ’s Method Alone” for those who are hurting. For this, the YbPTH leadership is eternally grateful. Of much more importance than our gratitude is that of Jesus Himself. Jesus has promised an eternal reward for your sacrifice for Him: “Verily I say unto you, there is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father,

3 or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time…and in…eternal life” (Mark 10:28-30). Following Christ’s method of self-sacrificing medical missionary work, along with pressing together as one unified unbroken army, each of you has chosen to “store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.” Just imagine the joy of hearing “our treasure” on the streets of gold say, “Thank you for sharing Christ with me in San Antonio, you are the reason that I am here!” What a reward, and truly, “what a glorious day that will be!” Collectively, as we continue to reach humanity’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs using “Christ’s Method Alone” we can expect further challenges. But, it is my prayer that as we face these difficulties we will, by God’s grace, “Remember the Alamodome” miracles. By so doing, our faith will be strengthened to withstand any trial, and soon we can stand together on the Sea of Glass alongside those for whom we have labored this week. Truly, it will be “a day of rejoicing” and I am sure, that “when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory!”

PROJECTS

YOUR BEST PATHWAY TO HEALTH – SAN ANTONIO PROJECTS Your Best Pathway to Health (YbPTH) could not offer the complexity of services we provide without the generosity and sacrificial donations of its partners, supporters, and volunteers. The acquisition of specific diagnostic equipment will enhance our ability to provide the medical management and treatment needed by many whose health would be at risk without intervention. Thank you in advance for your sacrificial gift/ commitment that will help meet some of YbPTH’s needs.*

Eye equipment

In addition to providing general sight evaluation, the desired equipment will allow clinicians to check the eyes of diabetics, who are at risk for nerve damage that could lead to blindness.

Dental equipment

For many, not having the option for simple crown repair means they may lose a tooth. The ability to repair crowns with a cerec machine, or know the treatment options that can only be revealed with dental xrays, will truly bring a smile to the faces of those we serve.

Radiology (X-ray) equipment

Symptoms such as joint pain, swelling, chronic coughs, difficulty breathing and chest pain can be indicative of multiple conditions. Only proper evaluation can identify the problem and if it can be treated in an outpatient setting. Radiology equipment can mean the difference between a referral and on-the-spot treatment.

Cystoscopy (bladder evaluation) and hysteroscopy (uterus evaluation) equipment

This specialized equipment has diagnostic features that could determine if a procedure is needed to remove a benign mass or a more complex intervention and follow-up for suspected malignancies.

Storage and transport trailer

With ever-expanding inventory, another trailer to house sensitive medical equipment and supplies is a critical need.

PROJECT GOAL: $350,000

Give online at: www.PathwayToHealthVolunteer.org or give by check or credit card.

* In the event that any portion of the listed project goals are met via other means, YbPTH will redirect funds to other approved project/organizational needs.
