For those unable to attend the NC Youth Soccer Board of Directors Mid-Year meeting, I want to give you a short recap of the meeting. We had 32 member associations represented either in person or by proxy. The fee increase required by US Youth Soccer, discussed at the NCYSA Annual General meeting in January, was approved – Classic players fee will increase by $3.00, Challenge by $1.00 and no fee increase will be accessed to Recreation and Academy player registration. Pender Youth Soccer Association was approved to add levels 2 & 3 for play and two associations applying for membership were denied. NCYSA is working hard to get the updates to the registration program provided by StackSports up and running! We know this has been very frustrating for our members as it has been for the staff! We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience. Wishing you a wonderful summer and thank you so much for all you do for the soccer players in North Carolina!

Kathy Cartee joined the NCYSA Staff in May. She will be supporting many of our programs and assisting Kathy Robinson, our Executive Director. Kathy comes to NCYSA from Greensboro United and NC Fusion, where she was the Finance Manager since 2012. Kathy looks forward to working with each of you!

We are working through some updates that have delayed the opening of the ACF for your local Registrars to complete. The original deadline was June 7th for the Classic Association Commitment form (ACF). This deadline Classic Registration will be POSTPONED until further notice from our NCYSA office. The same goes for the Classic Intent to Play (ITP) that is completed through the SINC system at www.ncysaclassic.com. This part of the process is contingent on the completion of the ACF by your club so this deadline will be postponed as well until further notice via NCYSA with an update. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience and understanding. CLASSIC FALL 2019 LEAGUE DATES:
Season will open on August 17, 2019
Fall USYS State Cup / Kepner Presidents State Cup Seeding Dates: ALL 15U-19U G games must be played on or before October 13th for cup seeding Seeds will be taken the following Monday (October 14th) for cup seeding for these age groups. All remaining league games for 13U-14UB, 13U-19UG must be played on or before November 17th for PR purposes. All 11U-12U games must be played by December 1st.

Ejections went down for the 4th consecutive year; The experience level of the center referee is adequate; We want to concentrate on lowering/eliminating Discriminatory actions, as they are on the rise.

The NC ODP Technical Staff would like to thank all of our NC Teams, their families, our age group directors, and staff coaches for their commitment to an awesome 2018-2019 ODP Season!
Hear a little about what our 2007 age group directors had to say about the year....
Our staff always enjoys working with the players, seeing them develop over the 6 months that we meet & we greatly appreciate the players & families commitment to the ODP Program Jeff Schellenberger - 07 Boys West
The 07 Boys East Region was able to develop as an age group due to consistency in training throughout the year. This allowed our staff to really assess the players and move them to the correct team by the final event. Cam Ormsby - 07 Boys East
The year went really well; scheduling multiple events to attend gives coaches more opportunities to evaluate in game competition. It also provides something for the players to work towards in training.

This group worked hard and had very consistent attendance this season. I believe we have some very talented players that really stood out.

Many thanks to our own NC Teams, families, and coaching staff as well as the teams, families, & coaches from Georgia & South Carolina who participated in our 2007 June Sub regional event this year! We appreciate our medical staff, referee crew headed by Dan Adams and Mark Thornton/Connor Nolan of Charlotte Soccer Academy for all their efforts leading up to & throughout the weekend.
