WEEK 3 READING: TITLE OF READING

Question 1: What is Pictorial Space according to Le Corbusier? (Maximum 100 words) Reality viewed from a distance which is redesigned from a 2D picture to get 3D. It cannot be entered or circulated through.

Question 2: The Flatness of Le Corbusier’s painting’s are attributable to two properties. What are they? And what are these pitted against?(Maximum 100 words) The object is designed as pure extension which outlines of 2D pictures are implemented to get a reality picture. “Mariage de contour”, constellation of objects drawn in insistent countinuity of outlines.

WEEK 4 READING: TITLE OF READING Complete your reading before attempting these questions:

Question 1: Explain the difference between Pictoral (in this case perspectival) space and Projection? (Maximum 100 words) Abense of vanishing points. In orthorgraphic projections of plan and sections, the implemented lines are parallel. In other words, vanishing points are located in infinity.

Question 2: Where did Axonometric projection first arise, and why? (Maximum 100 words) It first arose in Russia, continuous development of paralell projection. It was taught in engineering school because it is realated to mechanization and industrialization. It was also widely developed in Mathematics for its descriptive geometry.

ILLUSTRATED MARIO’S NEW WORLD

28 - 1

This is not an ordinary Mario World. It is more a home for stick figures. Their lives have been chased by a monster which we can imagine the size of it by the foot print on the first floor. Which is now a big lake for stick figures. From the front view, it may look like a normal

This is the combinationso two floors of two Mario Worlds. Had to tape again to get fixed position to outline with pen.

Finished outline drawing of my imaginative Mario World. Took a few hours for the whole process but it was worth it
