Greetings

Om swastyastu, Peace for all of us, Hi, my name is Erwin. I am very passionate about art, especially architecture. My interest in architecture was when I was accepted as a student majoring in architecture, faculty of engineering, Udayana University in 2016. After 2.5 years in college, I fell in love with architecture because I was so fascinated by the vastness of architecture. I found that architecture is not just about building, but there are many things in it like we have to learn psychology, human behavior, and so much more. I really enjoyed and grateful to have done architectural tasks both individually and in groups during my college days with full of hard work. I’m very grateful and thank my family, friends, lecturers, seniors, and all who have supported and guided me well. Finally, I want to thank you for your attention. I really hope for the best in the future for everyone. Om shanti shanti shanti om, God bless us.

1. Beach Ecosystem Sanur Beach, Bali Biota in the seawall area In rocky areas, territorial biota / living things are divided based on the size of the biota where the more it goes to the water, the smaller the size of the biota

Fauna in the coastal area

Division of beach area / layering The division of the coastal area consists of wet areas close to water, to a dry, fully dry sandy area

Coastal flora and coastal water flow

Erwin Karthana

In coastal ecosystems there are various kinds and forms of fauna that live inside rocks in seawall

There are various types of plants found in the coastal area, where several large plants are washed away following the waves.

Coastal water flow

Architecture Portfolio 20162018

In the morning, the flow of water forms a stream due to the ebb and flow of water.

The relationship between the flow of water and stone

Architecture Portfolio 20162018

Erwin Karthana

It can be seen that the rocks found in the river affect the direction and speed of the river water flow, and the slope of the land contour affects the swift or calm of the water.

Variety of flora We found that the various flora that grow around the river, the more flora looks away from the water, the more dense and lush. the details on the leaves of the flora also have a unique and varied form, and we also found a tree that grows on a rock so that its roots are visible to the naked eye.

Variety of fauna Various fauna are found in this river ecosystem such as dragonflies, spiders, worms, snails, moths, tadpoles, freshwater crabs, small fish, and others that survive in this river.

Area division Macro river ecosystems can be divided into several areas ranging from large rock areas, small rocks, soil and sand, and water.

02. Academic Project Critical Context Workshop 2018 Studio Unit Bali 01 Ecosystem 3. Forest Ecosystem Kebun Raya Bedugul, Bali Tree details and mushroom types At the root of the tree has holes and several cavities, the texture of the trunk tends to be rough and level. There are several types of mushrooms that have different shapes and colors

Distribution of biota

Land and grass The surface of the soil is covered with leaves and grass. Moist soil conditions are covered with rocks arranged on the ground. The spread of grass closer to the tree grows less frequently

Erwin Karthana

Parts of the stem have a life cycle of moss, other vines and some insects. The closer to the tree, the less moss is found on the stem because it has been overgrown with mold.

14

Architecture Portfolio 20162018

Characteristics of the trunks The pattern of the structure when cut then looks to have a centralized space and there are several stumps that are gummy. The root structure that spreads is branching and hard.
