WELCOME GENERAL MANAGER MESSAGE Jeff Muller Dear Members, We are so happy to be in season and enjoying the nice warm weather. We want to start by saying thank you to all of our members who have been so patient with us as we worked through the LIV tournament and continue tear down. It was great to see everyone out enjoying some professional golf. We are continuing to work on staffing levels to increase our outlet hours and are onboarding new employees with urgency. Please say hi to any new faces you see at the club! We had some exciting events in July for our membership - Flag Day, Composite Course Play, Club Championship and Ladies Member Guest. We are diligently working on bringing more member events to the club to increase camaraderie and enhance our member experience overall. Lastly, we are proud to bring on Kelly Patterson as our new Executive Chef. He has spent the last decade as an Executive Chef at different resorts, Caesars in Las Vegas and most recently at the Grand Stark Hotel in Portland. He will be a wonderful addition to our team and we can't wait to see what flair he brings to our dining experience. As always, Thank you for your continued support of the club.

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE Eric Feldhusen While it has been challenging to work through the weather conditions these past few months the team has been busy as we manage the golf course for daily play and work to bring a composite course together for the Portland LIV event. Add in all the projects we have worked on and it has made the time fly by. We could not have done all these things without the help of key staff members and I am grateful for their dedication to the club. A few of those projects include: -7,500 square feet of cart paths removed and replaced. -15 days of an outside tree companies performing various forms of tree work. -Over 150 tons of sand added to bunkers on both Witch Hollow and Ghost Creek. -New matting on Ghost Creek walk bridges along with a new walk bridge. -Repaired Five Witch Hollow lake exit drain that has been clogged. -Landscape projects and upgrades around both clubhouses and around the golf course. -Replacing over 75 sprinkler internals. -Adding drainage on 5 Ghost Creek tee area. -Dredging of 17 Ghost Creek pond. -Asphalt work at both our maintenance and pump station facility. -Marking of the golf course infrastructure for the LIV build out. As we transition both through the set up and the tear down of the LIV event please be patient as my team is doing there best to meet a lot of different expectations in a challenging environment on several levels. We will work hard to get the course back to normal as fast as we can and please do know we will continue with our normal agronomic programs like topdressing and needling tine greens during the summer months. Please let me know if you have any questions. Eric Feldhusen Director of Agronomy

GOLF PRO SHOP - WITCH HOLLOW GOLF RULES & TIPS John Kawasoe July was an action packed month here at PR! We began with the LIV invitational tournament, ending on July 2nd with a sold out day! We put on our annual flag day July 3rd, and opened the composite course to our membership for the two following days. We are so happy that both days were fully booked and most members were able to come out and enjoy it! Club Championship followed that weekend with our Club Champions, Eric Hastings. Congratulations Eric! Shortly after, we ended the member tournaments for July with our Ladies Member Guest. We had a wonderful turnout of 80 players. Thank you to all who helped us put on this event! We enjoyed every minute of watching our ladies play their best golf game. Congrats the winners of the horse race, Susan Badders and Donna Smoot !

If you watch golf on TV you hear all the time the speed is so important. This is a true statement. Club head speed is one of the factors to lone hitting. Here is a little tip to experiment with swinging a bit faster. Feel free to swing as fast or as hard as you like. You'll know you're swinging too fast or hard if you cannot hold your finish. Try that the next time you're on the practice range. Swing fast but stick your finish. Have fun out there. We are so lucky to be able to tee it up at this wonderful Club! I hope all your shots are long and true! See you on the links!

GOLF - GHOST CREEK PRO SHOP - GHOST CREEK GOLF RULES & TIPS Sebastain Stewart

Pro Tip: Check your distance away from the golf ball in your setup! Many players will put themselves in a bad position to hit the ball before they even begin their swing. When practicing, setup to the ball and let go of the club with your low trail hand. If you are too far from the ball, your trail hand will swing close to your body. Standing too close will result in your trail hand swinging away from your body. When you are just the right distance away your trail hand will swing back and forth into the club. Consistent setup is KEY in every player's golf swing! Be sure to setup more consistently and you will notice you start to shave a few strokes off your score!
