After some chilly days in November, I’m looking forward to a warmer than normal December! It was great to see many of you around Thanksgiving and I hope you had a chance to enjoy some time with family and friends We are thankful for such a great membership here at Black Hawk. As we continue into the Christmas holiday season, we hope that everyone gets a chance to enjoy the club festivities at Black Hawk over our final month of the year In 2022 we added and promoted some great team members and made some nice improvements around the property this year We are looking forward to a great year in 2023 Please continue to read on and enjoy this month’s newsletter Have a safe and happy holiday and as you ring in the New Year

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend And, as we approach the end of the year, I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2022 was a busy year for the Agronomy team, but we made great strides in course improvements and overall playability Carrying those playing conditions into 2023 and the Spring growing season is our major focus

We have a couple more events to wind down the year, but all the major tournaments are over Congratulations to all those who won, as well as those who participated Thank you to everyone for being a valued member at Black Hawk

As we look to round out the year we still have a few events coming up! The Member Holiday Party takes place on December 8th, and the Winter Wonderland Scramble takes place on December 9th

The Winter Wonderland Scramble is open to anyone from ladies, men, juniors, and guests If you are bringing a guest, there is a $49 green fee on top of the entry fee into the event. On December 9th we will also announce the 2023 golf schedule for ladies and men at the club.

At the Member Holiday Party we will have a fun promo going on in the golf shop You will have two options: you can buy a canvas bag for $30 and then whatever you can stuff in the bag you will get 50% off or you can test your luck and

While we didn’t get the results we wished for at this year ’ s Wooden Fence, it was such a spectacular event for the club. We are looking forward to reclaiming the title as Champions next year!

This first 6 months at the club has truly been amazing for me and my family and can’t thank everyone enough for being so welcoming. I am really excited bout the vision we have for the club as we move forward into 2023.

Happy Holidays!

We have some fun Programming for you in December! Bring the kiddos to decorate Ginger Bread houses on December 2, and Breakfast with Santa on December 10th. Our Member Holiday Party will be on December 8th.

We will be doing the cooking for you again for Christmas. Get your orders in for our carry out Christmas Feast.

Hot Chocolate will be replacing the Apple Cider in the Clubhouse for the month of December, so come on by to warm up with Hot Coco by the fireplace.

We look forward to meeting your families that are in town over the holidays. Make sure to bring them over for lunch or dinner to “show off” your club.
