Winter Golf Hacks

The weather may not be quite as nice reason you can’t carry on playing golf winter months – and enjoy it every bit winter golf hacks featured below will and thrive on the golf course when th start to drop

1 Change your golf balls Most of us l model of ball, but it’s well worth cons that preference to suit winter conditio

2 Keep your hands warm It’s absolut your hands stay warm and toasty wh The moment they get cold you’ll lose it’s really difficult to get them warm ag

3 Practice your short game It can be easy to neglect your short game in the winter, but you should practice it at least as much for two very good reasons Firstly, courses are playing longer and often tougher, so you’ll probably need it more often

4 Keep your golf balls warm A warm golf ball will actually fly further than a cold one – roughly two yards for every 10 degrees centigrade Keep your balls in your pockets and benefitting from your body heat and you’ll get a bit more yardage out of them

5 Try playing with half a set This makes your bag lighter to carry, and it also enables you to increase your creativity and versatility on the course It will help you protect the course too and improve your shot-making skills, something that is especially useful in the wind or around the greens

COURSE MAINTENANCE

Everyone here at maintenance is hard at work trying to prep all aspects of the property for the coming season We are currently cleaning up brush from tree trimming and removal from the 2022 season as well as working on getting equipment ready to start removing some trees that we lost this season We have started the process of rebuilding and sharpening all of our mowers for the season which will take most of January and February to service and repair When mother nature allows, we will be out on the course working on some projects, such as cutting back some tree lines, grading some drainage areas on 18 and making repairs to the walk bridges and guard rails We have a lot on our list this winter to accomplish and will be working very hard to get them completed before spring weather hits We at maintenance hope everyone has had a great holiday season and a great start to the new year!

How to Make Health & Fitness a Lifestyle in 2023

Whether you ’ re working on your New Year’s resolutions or have been putting your health and fitness plans into action for some time, how do you keep that momentum going? This article is to help you maintain this motivation well into the year

When you think of your goals as a journey rather than a destination, they’re more likely to become long-term And that’s what you want, isn’t it?

Read on to learn how to sustain your new healthy habits, push past your barriers, and lead your happiest, healthiest life

Define Your Why. You’ve set your resolutions, and you ’ re working toward your goals, and that’s amazing! But ask yourself why Why do you want to achieve your goals? What is your purpose? Why is this important to you? And how will you get there? Getting clear on your purpose and setting specific goals is linked to greater success, performance, and achievements

Repeat Small Habits Daily. No matter if you ’ ve reached your goal or are still working toward it, continue taking small daily actions that align with your overarching goals The micro-habits you complete daily (like drinking a glass of water upon waking, meal prepping your breakfast the night before, or winding down your day with meditation) are the habits that set you up for long-term success Start small, stay consistent, and then continue building from there!

Call On Healthy Swaps. Rather than depriving yourself of the foods you love, call on healthy ingredient swaps and find ways to make your favorite foods healthier By honoring your cravings in a healthy way, you ’ re more likely to stay on track with your goals and sustain healthy eating habits long-term Know Your Roadblocks. If you never have time for breakfast and know you ’ re going to order the sugarfilled latte and pastry at the drive-through, plan ahead and meal prep! If walking into your kitchen means opening your fridge and grabbing a snack (even after you just ate), make a plan to replace this habit! Knowing your roadblocks can help you sustain healthy habits and avoid or overcome hurdles.

And Remember: Do it for YOU Want to make your 2023 health and fitness goals stick? Do it for yourself! Remember, this is YOUR journey Avoid comparing yourself to others’ progress or goals no two people are the same! The key to making health and fitness a daily lifestyle is finding fun and effective healthy habits that work for you and your goals Come back to these health hacks if you ’ re feeling stuck, and remember, it’s a journey! Things might shift or challenge you, but try to stay consistent Seek support when you need it, be kind to yourself, and have fun with it!
