WELCOME GENERAL MANAGER MESSAGE I hope you are enjoying the additional updates and communications from the club. Again, our priority this year is to make sure that you are well informed of everything that is happening at your club. The Friday weekly email has been filled with some great content, along with updates from the golf shop on league play and events. Chef Maureen will begin sending you food special updates and other important pieces of information on socials. Be on the look out for all our upcoming events, tournaments and socials. The club is in a great place right now. The bunker project is moving along, with a hopeful completion date of August 1st. Of course we are at the mercy of product being delivered and hopeful that 400 tons of new white sand will be here any day. We are also taking on several small drainage repairs around selected greens which will help firm up our surrounds. As we continue to make improvements in all areas of the club, I sincerely thank you for your continued support. Our goal is elevated communication. Yours is to participate in a new event this year! GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE Logan Grant Welcome to July, Hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far. The bunker project has moved on to the back 9 and they are starting to demo the green side bunkers. They are waiting on supplies to show up to finish off the front. By the first off the month they are looking to have the front done. The plan is to do the green side bunkers on one last. We are coming up with a game plan for the bunkers by the pond. As some of you have seen we have started working on some drainage areas on the course. We are looking to do a couple a week. We did the back of 6 green, front of 7 green, and the fairway on 16. We had our bulk fertilizer app go out last week and we are starting to focus on tees and green surrounds. We are out there fighting the good fight with all the nice yellow looking flowers! We will be out there spraying those little guys all next week. A couple things to end with. First, we have started to go out and work on some of the wet areas around the golf course. We completed 7 approach and 16 fairway near the bottom. Course playability is a huge priority for us this year. We are going to tackle 2 and 3 green this up coming week. Then finish the week with 12 green. The process is to go in and clean out all the old material, add new sand and then lay new sod down. Our goal is to try and get to two or three spots a week. We are trying to focus on green side and landing areas to start with. The bunker project should be done on the front sometime next week. The goal is to still have them done by Member/Guest at the end of the month. If not, they will only have one or two left to do. I hope everyone is enjoying it out there as we start to pick away at some course improvement projects. I am looking forward to Member/Guest at the end of the month. Putting green is in the works to be re-done as well. PAGE 4

FOOD & BEVERAGE FEATURED RECIPIE Chef Maureen Swanson This month I would like to share a recipe that is always a summer hit! It one of my most 'go-to' and requested recipes, and it is SO delicious. I hope this is a fun and tasty meal to add to your repertoire. Ingredients 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper 2 yellow bell peppers 1 red bell pepper 1 yellow onion 1 tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper 1 bunch of scallions 2 tbsp olive oil 1 pound of peeled and deveined large shrimp, tails removed 8 small tortillas

Directions: Preheat a grill to medium-high heat In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Use a pastry brush to coat both sides of the peppers, onions and scallions with some of the oil, then sprinkle with a quarter of the spice mix. Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel, then brush with the remaining olive oil and season with the remaining spice mixture. Grill the peppers, onion and scallions until grill marks appear, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Remove to a cutting board. Add shrimp to the grill and cook just until they turn pink and begin to curl, about 2 minutes per side. Coarsely chop the vegetables and shrimp. Serve with the warm flour or corn tortillas, sour cream, lettuce, guacamole, cheese and lime wedges. Slainte!
