"The Stable" is our way of recognizing and thanking members who refer friends or colleagues to join our wonderful club. Here’s how it works:
Rewards:
$250 in Shop Credit: For every new Member you refer who joins the club, you will receive $250 in Shop Credit. This credit can be used toward equipment, apparel, or any other items available in our pro shop
Custom Head Cover: As a member, you will also receive a custom head cover, specially designed to recognize your contribution to our club’s growth and community.

Year-end Raffle Entry: Each Member sponsored through "The Stable" earns you entry into our exclusive year-end raffle. I hope this message finds you well, amidst this intense summer heat It's wonderful to hear so many of you enjoying the current condition of our course The greens are thriving, and the fairways are lush though I personally struggle to take full advantage, as my shots seem to miss them more often than not!
I wanted to remind everyone about our upcoming Red, White, and Blue Tournament on Saturday, July 13th at 8:00am It promises to be a fun event with a unique 2person shamble format, where you and your partner will experience the challenge of playing 6 holes each from the red, white, and blue tees Don't forget to sign up to ensure you don't miss out on the excitement!
Additionally, our MGA events every Thursday have been a success, boasting some of the highest participation numbers we've seen It's a great opportunity to compete for gross and net skins, as well as overall gross and net prizes If you haven't joined us yet, we'd love to have you out there!
Starting Sunday, July 14th at 5:30pm, we're introducing Couple’s Nine & Wine Nights at BlackHorse These events will occur every other Sunday, offering you and your significant other a chance to enjoy golf together followed by drinks. It's also a fantastic way to connect with other couples at BlackHorse and forge lasting friendships.
Looking ahead, Scratch League returns in August with its gross only, 9-hole format every Wednesday at 5:30pm. This league features season-long points to determine the ultimate Scratch League Champion. If you think you have what it takes, don't miss out on this competitive opportunity!
Lastly, if you're a new Member and we haven't had the pleasure of meeting, please come introduce yourself when you see me around the club. A much more fun month for everyone as we saw operations across the club back to normal. It was a fun month in Roper’s Grill as we expanded offerings in a couple of different ways.
First, Chef Gustavo was hanging out in the grill for SmokeHouse Saturdays! From brisket, to ham and most recently ribs, Chef fired up the smoker and carved great meals for our Members and guests on Saturdays
We also introduced some new hours on Thursday nights - specifically dinner service A lot of you have plans on Friday and Saturday nights, but we hope you will make your Thursday night plans with us For those of you participating in MGA, this makes it easy to come in and have the family meet you up at Roper’s for dinner after a little evening competition
Bingo night in June was a great success! We had a great crowd and a great meal thanks Chef! This month we look forward to a member favorite in Trivia Night on July 25th and a brand new event, the Beer Crawl!
The Beer Crawl will be on July 16th at 6 p.m. Let me tell you a little bit of what you can expect, because this is one you are going to want to be at! I have multiple vendors that will be onsite as your drive (a cart) through the back nine of the north course to different stations set up on specific holes When you arrive to these stations, there will be an adult beverage to try and a little snack paired with it I would expect some fun games sprinkled throughout the course as well We are looking forward to it and hope you will join us for the fun!
Looking ahead, continue to expect specials available in Roper’s Grill daily Chef has done a great job of varying the offerings to keep your tastebuds guessing when you come in for a bite to eat
