I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. And, as we approach the end of the year, I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2022 was a busy year for the Agronomy team, but we made great strides in course improvements and overall playability Carrying those playing conditions into 2023 and the Spring growing season is our major focus

Part of what makes Shadow Hawk so unique is our sand traps. They are big and deep, and the white sand creates such a nice visual. That being said, they take an amazing amount of manpower, time, and resources to be just right This time of year is when the leaf blowing, heavy rains, and golf traffic all lend a hand in the sand removal It is a priority to keep them in top shape and consistent That is the only way that it can be a fair test for every golfer Thank you for

UPCOMING GOLF EVENTS

We would like to congratulate both the Men’s and Ladies’ Wooden Fence teams on their victories! Our Ladies’ Wooden Fence team started off the week by defeating Black Hawk CC 8 to 4 in their competition. They had to battle some cooler weather in the week but were able to come out victorious! Our Men’s Wooden Fence followed the lead of the Ladies and was also able to defeat Black Hawk CC. They started off with a 10.5 to 2.5 point lead after four ball competition on the first day at Shadow Hawk. Cold and rain shortened the singles matches at Black Hawk the following day, but the men were still able to secure 12.5 points on the second day. The final score of the Men’s Wooden Fence was 24 to 14. On behalf of the golf staff, we would like to congratulate all our members who participated and helped lead their respective teams to victory!

We will be hosting our annual holiday sale on Sunday December 11th. Please come by and do some of your holiday shopping with us! We will have food and drinks provided in the golf shop as well as the famous discount wheel! The golf shop sale will run from 8:00am until 4:00pm. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Holiday Hours:

December 24th: All carts must be in by 2:00pm with the club house closing at 3:00pm The range and practice facilities will be closing at 1:00pm. You are welcome to play later than 2:00pm but you must walk to do so.
