Like I've said before, what makes the Bay Area so great is the incredible range of personalities and people leading these workshops, games, and creative sessions. Some (myself included) might say the Bay Area has the coolest folks among us!

Tattoo Art Workshop

About the Session

In the past people might have considered tattoos fringe, or even taboo, but in recent decades tattoos have become mainstream and even chic! This workshop will teach you to create tattoo art from scratch so you can draw out your own designs for your next (or first) tattoo! All levels are welcome here; this is not just a class for tattoo artists, but anyone curious about the intricacies and subtleties that define this unique art form As a non-digital class, this is your chance to put away your tablets and styluses and pick up a pen and paper again! Our host will demonstrate how to put an idea on paper and style it in a tattoo-friendly manner You’ll create a design or image that will work not only for any future tattoos but also for a wall hanging or framed decoration! Come take this workshop for the chance to learn why once you design your first tattoo, you won’t want to stop at one!

Block Printing

ABOUT THE SESSION

Looking to leave your mark on anything and everything? Come learn how to create your own stamps and prints, and impress your family with your eye for design Believe it or not, making stamps isn’t as difficult as you think, and it’s an easy way to spice up your letters, gift wrapping, product packaging, and more! Our host will show you how to design your own logo, image, or pattern and imprint it onto a plethora of materials, including foam and potatoes (yes, potatoes!)

Come act out this delightful trio at our Paint & Sip workshop, complete with full kits Spend an hour and a half creating stunning paintings on blank canvases while enjoying some high-quality wine and sharing your artsy side with your teammates Our host will ensure that your painting comes out not only wall-worthy but also true to you and your style Choose from a wide selection of painting options, all of which will add a splash of gallery vibes to your home

Wood Burning

ABOUT THE SESSION

Learn an art form that dates back centuries, long before factory-made art was a gleam in anyone’s eye Today we’re studying the ancient craft of wood burning Although you might be picturing oldfashioned patterns and images of battles or coats of arms, wood burning is a great medium for contemporary designs and images as well!

Our host will show you how to use a wood burning tool to draw out your designs on small pieces of wood first, before putting your wood burning skills to the test on your final design Who knew how much beauty can come from a simple piece of wood and some heat?!

ABOUT THE SESSION

Have you ever used a miter box and saw set before? If not, now’s your chance! Working with our expert, you’ll learn how to use these handy tools to create a wood design that will provide the perfect accent to your home, or even a special gift for a loved one Our host will walk participants through the steps to plan, measure, cut, and assemble their own finished piece, all within the space of this 120-minute workshop By the end, you’ll have precision woodworking skills you never would have thought possible!

ABOUT THE SESSION

A workshop you can smell! Relax into the meditative flow of candle crafting as you envision the dinner parties and relaxing nights that lie ahead, accompanied by the soothing scent of your own handmade soy candle We have countless scents to choose from, and will send everyone their favorite scent, plus a backup Over the next hour and a half, Let your nose lead the way to bliss!

ABOUT:

Justin Ward has gained notoriety with his street performances throughout the world and his covers on YouTube that are soulful and “too sexy to handle,” often leaving audiences transfixed, viewers “falling in love,” and the comment section poppin’ off

Justin’s passion for music started at the young age of four while playing the piano and violin He later picked up the sax and would practice for hours in his bedroom, sometimes even expanding his performances to the bathroom Though he drove his mom and everyone in the house crazy using their suburban Chicago home as his personal stage, he attributes his hard work and drive to his single mom and his modest upbringing Justin went on to study at DePaul University’s School of Music before moving to Santa Barbara with no real plan just a love of music, living in his Jeep with fifty bucks and a dusty sax To overcome his fear of performing, Justin began playing on the streets and quickly made a name for himself He eventually found his way to San Francisco, where he’s currently based From hair flips to big tips, people know him You could say he’s kind of a big deal Dude's got over 50 million views on YouTube
