B
efore the development of the bustling town of Al Khoudh, there was a hidden place tucked away on the outskirts of Seeb, called Old Al Khoudh. Since the development of the city, it has embraced its now official name, ‘Al Khoudh Village’. Located about 30 kilometres away from Airport, and best accessed by the Muscat Expressway, the village is situated in a stra-

tegically isolated area. Residents enjoy views of Wadi Al Khoudh and high-peaked mountains, and access to the village is via a bridge positioned between two massive mountains. A small road leads into the town. Though it might be called 'old town', this village has been largely renovated with modern villas and massive, contemporary houses, though some of the historic old homes, weathered by time, still remain. As its an isolated place, there aren't many
