the standard archeological information; this was then followed by Paul’s version—which was much more riveting. Paul was a gifted storyteller; he gave us a completely different slant, both deeper and more mystical—which placed the origin of the Sphinx and Pyramids much further back in time.

This trip catalyzed a great change in me, both personally and professionally. When I

returned to Los Angeles, where I had been a fashion photographer, I found I had completely lost interest in this field and I began a true, in depth, spiritual quest.

I also began to feel there was a story tugging on my sleeve—a story begging to be told. I went to a friend’s bed and breakfast in the mountains of Northern California. There, sitting in a room completely surrounded by ancient trees, the essence of the book c a m e

pouring through in four days.

I felt like I was “downloading” information and was amazed by what I saw on the page. This “channeled” story, combined with all things I had studied and researched, and the sites I had visited in the Middle East produced the beginnings of this book.

HOW HAS THE BOOK AFFECTED YOU PERSONALLY?

Diana: This process of the book was started 25 years ago right after a second trip to Egypt with Paul. It began a dance between my life and this story. When opportunities magically appeared to

visit many of the different sacred sites around the planet—sites Paul had spoken about, I jumped at the opportunity. I became a woman obsessed! I wanted—no needed—to understand who built these places and why and just who we humans really are.

For instance, at one stone site in Peru, multi-ton slabs of stone came from three mountain valleys away; and the same was true for other sites in the region. I was astounded! How did they—or we—move those stones?

Part of what I write about in the book has to do with the intersecting ley lines, or lines of energy, that circle the earth. The many potent places where they cross are the earth’s acupuncture points; this is where so many of the sites are placed. Different types of stone have the capacity to hold energy. They can pull in energy from the heavens and ground it into the earth. The location of the sites was picked very carefully by Beings who knew about our planet and understood energy. There’s a reason and a

purpose as to why the different sacred sites are located at specific energetic points.

WHAT DO YOU HOPE WILL BE THE OUTCOME OF THIS BOOK?

Diana: The strongest message is the idea of choice. I think many people don’t realize they have the choices they do—choices in how they respond to various situations in life. I believe that one of our greatest gifts as humans is that we have the ability to choose.

We’re conditioned to react when things aren’t going our way—sometimes there is a very good, and important reason, they are going differently than planned. If we can just pause and listen for a moment, then respond rather than react, we can take back our power in our lives.

choices to come from: love or fear.

If a response is not coming from love, then it is coming from fear.

All of the emotions we might call “negative” come out of fear and our biggest fear comes out of the misconception that we are separate and therefore have to defend our little piece of turf. Our ancient past, and our future, is about connection. The key is moving from the head (the intellect) to the heart—to feel our connection to everyone and every thing—and respond from that space. This is a very big deal—it will change our

and that’s where the choice part comes in. When we take responsibility (the ability to respond) and make choices, we place ourselves on the edge of evolution. Everything is energy. We broadcast energy all the time—it’s our nature and it’s time to take charge of that energy. That’s how we become conscious agents of change. All of the little things we think and do matter and affect the whole. I call this time “The Cycle Of The Turning Of The Ages.” It’s a time of great shift—all of the indigenous

I say, “look deeper,” we’re going through birth pangs and before something new can be born, the old must break down.

Change is inevitable and it’s occurring right on time. The

planet can no longer sustain our current way of living. Each of us can choose whether to personally cooperate with that change, squint down and take in the big-

ger picture, or fight it—in which case things will seem very hard and difficult. It’s time to look around and see the world with new eyes—a time of incredible opportunity—and we can do it!

Combine herbs and flow to more effectively heal

T

HE HUMAN body is always striving for balance by constantly seeking homeostasis—a stable functioning internal system. Every individual is also constantly seeking balance between the body, the mind, our emotions, and the spirit. With growing success, the use of herbs and flower essences in combination rather than separately, appear to produce a quicker and more effective system of gentle and potentially permanent healing for individuals.

Herbs are gentle and work on the physical body by reminding it how to function properly. The chemical constit-

uents of each herb work directly on the body whether the herb is being used in the form of a tea, fresh-picked, dried, or as a tincture. Herbs are selected for their effect on a specific body system and function by addressing the root physical cause of an imbalance within in the body.

Through the bio-chemical response between the herb and the cells of body, healing occurs within the physical body.

Flower essences contain the life force derived from the flower of the plant and are vibrational in nature. They work through the human energy fields, which in turn influence our mental, emotional, and physical sense of well-being. Flower essences are prepared in water; the wa-

ter itself receives an imprint of the essential qualities of the flower. Therefore, each drop of water contains the whole configuration of the plant’s archetype. Patterns of imbalance that may exist in the emotions, soul, spirit and mind will gently be brought back into balance.

All physical imbalances have emotional components attached to them and those emotional components can be significant.

Through my experience in practice, when the emotional pain is addressed along with the physical pain, individuals tend to process the journey of healing with a much more positive attitude. They heal much quicker. Emotional pain feels just as severe as passing a kidney stone; that stone passes slowly

and each sharp edge is clearly felt as it passes.

With babies, we always console them with love when they fall and hurt their toe. We ice the hurt toe, kiss the owwie, and hug and love the child. If we only ice the toe, well, I think you may know how well that doesn’t work.
