Course Type: Chartered Management Institution (CMI), Level 3

Length: 34 weeks, part-time

Entry Requirements:

• Ideally, you should have already achieved a level 2 qualification although your previous experience will also be considered when applying for this course

This qualification has been developed for junior managers, supervisors and first line managers who have operational responsibility for a defined area of activity and who wish to build on and develop their existing management skills and knowledge. This qualification gives junior managers the communication and motivational skills to help improve operational efficiency.

Upon completing the qualification, you will be awarded Foundation Chartered Manager Status. Putting aspiring and earlycareer managers on a guided development pathway to becoming a fully-fledged Chartered Manager.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Once you have successfully completed the course you can progress onto the CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management.

Length: 18 months, part-time

Entry Requirements:

• Ideally, you should have already achieved a level 2 qualification although your previous experience will also be considered when applying for this course

This qualification is designed for practising middle managers and those aspiring to senior management who want to develop their core management skills such as managing resources, recruitment and information management.

It is a formal, professional qualification which will reinforce existing knowledge, build on current work experience and prepare for future career advancements.
