> Level 3 in Beauty Therapy

> GCSE grade 4 or equivalent in English –preferred

On this course you will learn some of the most up to date technologies, treatments and industry practices. You will have the opportunity to liaise with companies and will be trained in the skills of management and public relations (PR) – Prepare to step into your future.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

Students will participate in practical sessions, which will allow students to use machines, products and complete treatments on clients. This will include health and safety, laser and light rejuvenation and physiology of aging.

HOW AM I ASSESSED?

Students will write assignments, which are Harvard referenced and complete case studies on clients. Students will be required to participate in group projects, individual academic portfolios and complete observational activities. Students will work in our realistic working environment (RWE), and perform treatments on paying clients.

WHAT’S NEXT?

On successful completion of the course, you could progress onto a level 5 management course and depending on entry requirements, further advanced beauty courses in higher education.

You can also progress into employment within the industry as a senior therapist, laser and light technician, manager or business owner.
