Your Health And Wellbeing

We have teams dedicated to your wellbeing across all of our sites. If you need advice, guidance or support, for any issues which are worrying you, talk to a member of our team. We are committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our students and staff. We have signed up, and are committed to, the Association of Colleges’ Mental Health and Wellbeing Charter.

Your Safety

We prioritise your safety at all times. We have a safeguarding and welfare team at all of our sites. We can offer advice, support and ensure that help can be sought from external agencies to enable the best outcomes for our students’ safety. If you should feel unsafe or feel you need to access support, we are here to make sure you are heard and safe at all times.

Equality And Diversity

We value the diversity of our college communities and we are committed to inclusion for all in everything we do. We ensure that all of our students receive the same provision and access to our services. We encourage a culture of respect and commit to tackling prejudice at all levels. By encouraging students and staff to share their own experiences, we aim to promote mutual understanding.

Additional Support

Our Learning Support Services team can provide support to students who are visually impaired, hearing impaired, those with mobility issues, dyslexia, autism or any learning or physical difficulty and/or disability. Students can choose to have their support provided by the College. Teesside University has a team of disability advisers who can provide information, advice and guidance regarding support and choice of provider.
