Much like our level 2 and 3 apprenticeships, our higher apprenticeships will give you the skills you need to excel in your chosen field whilst providing real world work experience. If you have A levels or a level 3 vocational course or apprenticeship qualifications you may be considered for a higher apprenticeship.

We currently offer the following higher apprenticeships:

> Care leadership and management

> Engineering

> Health assistant practitioner

> Management and Leadership

Key facts about higher apprenticeships:

> You’ll spend most of the week at work (a minimum of 30 hours) developing your skills, competency and also being assessed

> You’ll also spend time attending college or training at work

> From August 2020 to January 2021, 51,400 people started a higher apprenticeship, with 35,100 of these being aged 25 or over*

> Higher apprentices could earn £150,000 more on average over their lifetime**

> After completing your apprenticeship, 77% of apprentices stay with the same employer, 46% received a pay rise and 36% reported getting a promotion**

* Statistics from commonslibrary.parliament.uk.

**Statistics from GOV.UK.

Benefits of a higher apprenticeship:

> You won’t need to pay tuition fees as an apprentice, your employer and the government will cover the costs

> You will earn a living whilst developing your skills

> You’ll be well placed in the job market with skills that are directly relevant to your chosen career path.
