LEVEL 3 T LEVEL: HAIRDRESSING, BARBERING AND BEAUTY THERAPY

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
During the 2-year programme, you learn the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of hairdressing, barbering and beauty therapy occupations. You will learn a range of skills that will set you up for a successful career in this field. Those skills include safe working practice, patient consultation, sales and marketing, and business context, including how the market operates. On this course you will also be required to complete a minimum 9 weeks of industry placement with a local employer.
WHAT GRADES DO I NEED?
Four GCSEs grade 4 or above including English and maths and a level 2 qualification in a related course.
WHAT’S NEXT?
On completion of this qualification, you will have the skills to start working in industry in a salon or barbers, or you could continue your studies by starting a higher education course.
