HALLOWEEN WITH THE JOURNEYMEN More than 300 people attended a free Halloween party at the Old Scout Hall on 28 October run by the recently formed not-for-profit organisation The JourneyMen with the support of the Eumundi District Community Association (EDCA) and Eumundi Community Gardens. There was fun for all the family with games, puzzles, an escape room, food, live music and costume prizes. Will McIntyre is the founder and inspiration behind The JourneyMen and was encouraged by the large turnout. “For our first event it went extremely well. In the future we hope to expand
on the idea. Our aim is to try and build a better community and improve understanding of what it means to be a community.” The JourneyMen promote inclusiveness, uniting men as leaders and inviting them to come together in a safe space. “Throughout our journey together so far we have grown and connected with many like-minded people,” said Will.
