Concept
Following the theme of <BODY>, I thought about the relationship between our bodies and spaces. I chose to delve into this theme more intimately, choosing the material of soft fabric, gentle and soft to be this space.
This installation was designed to be a perceptual experience; I wish to invite the public to heighten their senses, of sights and of touch as we immerse our bodies into this space.

Form and Structure
Originally, the installation was designed to encircle the fountain as an alleyway, following the geometrical context of the Old Courthouse.
However, it is now presented with deconstructed fragments of curvy T's, only one sixth of the original design left, to break the strong geometry in the square courtyard.

Form and Structure
Four units of curvy T structures make up this installation as a module, with 180 degrees tilt on both ends to create a playful circulation.
This design ensures a structurally sound installation as well as being visually pleasing.

Perception (Visual)
The white light cloth engulfing the structure plays with our visibility as it moves with the wind.
While the wind is still, it acts as realm of blank white space that cuts out the outside, allowing you to embrace me-time.
While the wind blows, you see the surroundings yet again, reminding you that we are never truly alone.

Perception
(Touch and Movement)
The cuts and openings are adjusted at eye level; we need to lower our heads to go through them.
Inside, we then freely move through any openings, flowing through the structure as it intertwines and connects. As we navigate the structure, we feel the embrace of the wind through the soft fabric caressing our skin.
