Mucho por descubrir
Pero esto no es más que el comienzo y tanto la zona central como el este de Cuba deparan al viajero muchos más hallazgos. Villa Clara, provincia con una historia admirable, atesora la plaza Ernesto Che Guevara, que alberga los restos del legendario guerrillero y sus compañeros. Y muy próxima a ella, encontramos Remedios, una de las más antiguas villas de Cuba, declarada Monumento Nacional y cuna del gran músico y abogado Alejandro García Caturla. Cuenta la ciudad, entre otros puntos de interés, con la iglesia de San Juan Bautista, cuyo hermoso retablo barroco labrado en cedro y laminado en oro resulta de una belleza extraordinaria y el Museo
de las Parrandas, que guarda las memorias de las fiestas tradicionales de la localidad. Y a pocos kilómetros de allí, los cayos del norte de Villa Clara, pertenecientes a la Reserva de la Biosfera Buenavista: Cayo Las Brujas, Santa María y Ensenachos, tres hermosos islotes que invitan al refugio, al retorno a la vida esencial: playas vírgenes, delicada arena y una atractiva diversidad de flora y fauna marinas. El recorrido continúa a Cienfuegos, ciudad marinera conocida como la Perla del Sur, muestra sus atractivos de influencia francesa y sus playas, abiertas al mar Caribe, con las mejores condiciones para la práctica del buceo y los deportes náuticos. Hija pródiga del aguardiente y la caña, la Villa de la Santísima Trinidad – declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO – sale al encuentro del viajero, mostrando su encanto de ciudad museo. A través de sus calles empedradas, sus plazas coloniales, sus magníficas construcciones y el recuerdo de su grandeza, Trinidad acuna el recuerdo de cuando, durante el siglo XVIII, fue la región más próspera y rica de Cuba. En el recorrido aparece otra sorpresa natural: una parte de la cayería de Jardines del Rey que muestra, sin timidez alguna, la naturaleza desbordante, exótica y rebelde del trópico en los cayos Romano, Coco y Guillermo, otrora refugio y cuartel de famosos hombres del mar. The erstwhile centre for eau-de-vie and sugar cane, Villa de la Santísima Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a charming museum-town. Its cobbled streets, colonial-style squares, grand buildings and nostalgic atmosphere all evoke Trinidad’s 18th century heyday, when it was the wealthiest and most prosperous region in Cuba. Yet another natural wonder can be seen along the way, none other than the string of tiny islands of Jardines del Rey (the King’s Gardens). Lose yourself in exuberant, exotic and unruly tropical vegetation on Cayo Romano, Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo, once the retreat and domain of famous seafarers. Sun-bleached beaches, soft breezes and the tranquillity of this little island chain near the Old Bahama Channel soothe body and mind alike. Primer asentamiento europeo en América y primer destino turístico del Caribe. Cruce de corrientes, no sólo marinas sino culturales, esta parte de La Española nos lleva siempre más allá del paraíso… Bañada por la historia de la navegación del Atlántico al norte y por el exotismo del Caribe al sur, sus casi 1.200 km de costa de ensueño hacen de éste uno de los rincones más aclamados del planeta en lo que a sol y playa se refiere. Sin embargo, la República Dominicana es mucho más que playas de ensueño y la mejor prueba de ello es su capital, Santo Domingo. Bathed in the history of Atlantic navigation in the north and in the exoticism of the Caribbean in the south, its almost 1,200 km of bewitching coastline make this one of the most highly acclaimed corners of the planet, if it is sunshine and beaches that you are looking for. But the Dominican Republic has much more than just captivating beaches, and the best proof of this is its capital, Santo Domingo. It was the first European city in the New World and this has left a mark of inestimable value, especially in its architecture. And so it is that a stroll through the Colonial Zone immerses us in the great historic legacy of this city, walking in the footsteps of Columbus towards the beginnings of the conquest of the New World. The best starting point for paying homage to its discoverer is the Parque de Colón park, from which we can reach the Catedral de Santa María la Menor, which is considered to be the oldest cathedral in America. After this, we feel compelled to follow the inescapable path of the Calle de Las Damas, the most historic in the whole city. Este avión es una apuesta por seguir llevando a nuestros viajeros a destinos lejanos para descubrir rincones paradisíacos a bordo de los mejores aviones del mercado. Equipado con tecnología punta, este avión puede recorrer distancias más largas y cuenta con un equipamiento especialmente diseñado para la comodidad del viajero, como una nueva iluminación a bordo o un nuevo sistema de vídeo con pantallas de televisión en la parte trasera de todos sus asientos para disfrutar películas, vídeos musicales, juegos, series. También cuenta con avances tecnológicos que permiten a este avión ser más respetuoso con el medio ambiente reduciendo sus emisiones. Además, la aeronave contará con nuestra clase “Turista +” que en su 1º aniversario ya ha sido utilizada por más de 5.300 pasajeros en el resto de aviones de larga distancia de la flota de Evelop. Por otro lado, nuestra filial en Portugal, Orbest, tiene previsto continuar enlazando durante los meses de noviembre y diciembre 2015 Lisboa con Punta cana y Cancún a través de una frecuencia semanal, y esto será sólo el principio. Desde Marzo 2016 los viajeros de Orbest contarán con vuelos regulares desde Lisboa a estos aeropuertos una vez a la semana, aumentando a dos vuelos semanales a cada uno de estos destinos a partir de Junio 2016. ●

With this aircraft we will continue transporting our travellers to far-off destinations to discover heavenly corners of the world, onboard the very best airplanes that the market has to offer. Equipped with the very latest technology, this airplane can cover longer distances and has a whole host of facilities specially designed for passengers’ comfort. These include new onboard lighting and a new video system with television screens located on the back of every seat to enjoy films, music videos, games, television series, etc. It also has technological advances that allow this aircraft to be more environmentally friendly and to reduce its emissions. What’s more, the aircraft will include our Turista+ cabin class, which has already been used by over 5,300 passengers on the other long-distance airplanes of the Evelop fleet in its first year of service. added benefits with Turista+, such as priority billing, seats with more room, Premium menus, travel kits, and many more perks that ensure your holidays begin as soon as you set foot on the airplane. Moreover, in November and December 2015, Orbest, our subsidiary in Portugal, plans to continue its connections between Lisbon and Punta Cana and Cancun on a weekly basis – and that’s only the start of things to come. Siguiendo normas internacionales de seguridad, antes del despegue, nuestra tripulación de cabina realizará una demostración sobre el uso de mascarillas de oxígeno, chalecos salvavidas y localización de salidas de emergencia. Asimismo les emplazamos a que lean con atención las instrucciones de seguridad colocadas en el bolsillo de su asiento.
Following international safety standards, our cabin crew will carry out a pre-flight demonstration in order to show you the location and use of oxygen masks, life jackets and emergency exits. Please read the safety pamphlet stored in the seat pocket in front of you.

Evelop acepta una bolsa de equipaje de mano en todos sus vuelos, incluyendo los realizados dentro de territorio español. Las dimensiones del equipaje de mano no pueden exceder de 50 x 45 x 25 cms. Y su peso no debe superar 10 kgs. No obstante, elementos como bolsos de mano, libros de bolsillo, prendas de abrigo, paraguas o bastón serán aceptados a bordo sin necesidad de ser etiquetados ni pesados.
Evelop allows passengers to bring only one piece of hand luggage onboard which should not exceed the following dimensions and weight: 50 x 45 x 25 cms, and weight cannot exceed more than 10 kgs. However objects such as handbags, paperback books, coats, umbrellas or walking sticks can be brought onboard without previously being weighed or labelled.

The only alcoholic beverages allowed to be consumed on the aircraft are those served by our cabin crew during the bar service. It is strictly prohibited to consume alcoholic beverages brought onboard by the passenger or purchased during the onboard sales service.

Para su información, productos como arena de playa o café en su equipaje facturado pueden conllevar inspecciones por la autoridades aduaneras requiriendo su presencia para chequear el contenido de su maleta. Para evitar molestias y retrasos les recomendamos lo trasporten en su equipaje de mano.
For your information, having products such as beach sand or coffee in your checked luggage can result in inspection by customs authorities that will then require your presence in order to check your suitcase’s contents. To avoid inconveniences or delays we recommend that you transport these products in your carry-on luggage.

Since 6th November 2006, the EU has adopted new security measures restricting the quantity of liquids or similar substances which passengers can take with them to go through the security controls of European airports. For more information please ask our cabin crew.

En nuestros vuelos intercontinentales y europeos y en todos los que tienen origen o destino Canarias, disponemos de música y cine a bordo. Para poder disfrutarlo le ofrecemos auriculares al precio de 4 Euros. Estos auriculares son compatibles con la mayoría de aparatos electrónicos.
A comprehensive selection of audio and video programmes are available to our passengers on all intercontinental flights and most European flights from mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands. In order to enjoy this service, headsets are available on request at the price of 4 Euros. These headsets are compatible with most electronic systems.

Medidas de seguridad
Safety measures
Desde el 6 de Noviembre del 2006, la Unión Europea (UE) ha adoptado nuevas medidas de seguridad que restringen la cantidad de líquidos o sustancias de consistencia similar que los pasajeros pueden llevar consigo cuando pasan los controles de seguridad de los aeropuertos comunitarios. Estas medidas son aplicables a todos los pasajeros que salgan de los aeropuertos de la UE, independientemente de su destino. Las nuevas medidas no limitan la adquisición por los pasajeros de estos líquidos o sustancias en las tiendas situadas más allá del punto de control donde usted muestra su tarjeta de embarque o a bordo de las aeronaves operadas por una aerolínea de la UE.
Since 6th November 2006, the European Union has adopted new security measures restricting the volume of liquids or similar substances which passengers are allowed to carry with them through security controls in European airports. These measures are applicable to all passengers leaving EU airports, regardless of their destination. However, the new measures do not limit passengers from obtaining these liquids or substances from shops situated beyond the control point where a boarding pass must be shown, or onboard aircraft operated by a EU airline.
¿Qué es nuevo? Mientras hace su equipaje:
Sólo le está permitido llevar en su equipaje de mano pequeñas cantidades de líquidos. Estos líquidos tienen que ir en pequeños contenedores con una capacidad individual máxima de 100ml. Cada pasajero tiene que empaquetar estos contenedores en una bolsa transparente de plástico con autocierre de no más de un litro de capacidad máxima, para facilitar la inspección de estos productos en los controles de seguridad. Los pasajeros deberán proveerse de dichas bolsas antes del inicio de su viaje. A efectos de las nuevas medidas, se consideran líquidos: • Agua y otras bebidas, sopas, jarabes • Cremas, lociones y aceites, incluida la pasta de dientes • Perfumes • Gel, como por ejemplo, gel de ducha o champú • Contenidos de contenedores presurizados, incluido espuma de afeitar, otras espumas y desodorantes • Aerosoles • Cualquier otro de consistencia similar
En el aeropuerto
• Presentar todos los líquidos dentro de la bolsa citada, separadamente del equipaje de mano, y colocarla en la bandeja proporcionada al efecto en los controles de seguridad, para su examen por parte de los empleados de seguridad. • Quitarse su chaqueta y/o abrigo y colocarlos en la bandeja. Estas prendas tendrán que ser examinadas separadamente mientras usted es inspeccionado. • Sacar su ordenador portátil y cualquier otro dispositivo electrónico de dimensiones similares de sus fundas correspondientes, y colocarlos en la bandeja para que sean inspeccionados separadamente de dichas fundas en los controles de seguridad.
¿Qué no cambia? Usted puede todavía:
• Llevar los productos autorizados, incluidos los líquidos y sustancias relacionados en el apartado anterior, en las maletas que usted factura; las nuevas medidas sólo afectan al equipaje de mano. • Llevar en su equipaje de mano medicinas y comida para bebés, para su uso durante el viaje, presentándolos separadamente en los controles de seguridad, pero no dentro de la bolsa transparente. • Comprar líquidos como bebidas y perfumes, bien en cualquier tienda de los aeropuertos de la UE cuando éstas estén situadas más allá del punto de control de seguridad o bien a bordo de una aeronave operada por una aerolínea europea. Si estos productos son vendidos en bolsas selladas, no las abra hasta que no haya finalizado su viaje. Si usted va a continuar su viaje en otro aeropuerto de la UE, no abra esta bolsa sellada hasta que haya salido del último aeropuerto comunitario. Todos estos líquidos son adicionales a las cantidades de la bolsa de plástico mencionada anteriormente.

What is new? While preparing your luggage:
Only small amounts of liquid are allowed to be carried in the hand luggage. Such liquids must be transported in small containers, with an individual maximum capacity of 100ml. Each passenger must package these containers in a self-sealing, transparent, plastic bag, of no more than one-litre capacity to facilitate inspection of these products at security controls. Passengers must obtain such bags before beginning their journey. Liquids include: • Water and other drinks, soups, syrups • Creams, lotions and oils, including toothpaste • Perfumes • Gels, such as shower gel or shampoo • Content of pressurised containers, including shaving foam and other foams and deodorants • Aerosols • Any other substance of a similar consistency
At the airport
• All liquids must be presented within the aforementioned bag, separately from hand luggage and placed in the tray provided for that purpose by security controls, to be examined by the security personnel. • Passengers must remove their jacket and/or coat and place them in a tray. These garments must be examined separately during the inspection. • Passengers must remove their laptop computer or any other electronic device of similar dimensions from its case, and place it in a tray to be inspected separately from its case at security controls.
What does not change? You still can:
• Carry authorized products, including liquids and similar substances mentioned in the previous section, in your checked baggage; the new measures only affect hand luggage. • Carry medicines and baby food in your hand luggage, for use during the trip, presenting them separately at the security controls, but not in a transparent bag. • Buy liquids such as beverages and perfumes from shops situated beyond the control point or on board aircrafts operated by an EU airline. If these products are sold in sealed bags, do not open them until your trip is finished. If you are going to continue your trip to another EU airport, do not open the sealed bag until you have left the last EU airport. All these liquids are additional to the quantities mentioned above for the plastic bag.

Les informamos que algunos de los productos que ofrecemos a bordo de nuestros vuelos pueden contener ingredientes alérgenos para algunos pasajeros con algún tipo de intolerancia o alergia incluyendo las trazas. Les recordamos que es responsabilidad del pasajero llevar la medicación adecuada y otras medidas de protección que pueda necesitar durante el vuelo.
Please be aware that some of the products we offer on board our flights may contain allergens, or traces of allergens, that may affect passengers with an allergy or intolerance. Please remember that it is the passenger’s responsibility to carry the required medication and other protective measures that they may require during the flight.
Les rogamos que por su propia seguridad tenga en cuenta las siguientes recomendaciones: Si usted sufre cualquier tipo de alergia o intolerancia, siempre deberá llevar consigo la medicación necesaria e inyectables. Si usted sufre alergia o intolerancia a algún tipo de alimento, incluidos los frutos secos, no podremos confirmarle que el menú ofrecido esté libre de ellos, ya que es imposible para Evelop/Orbest garantizar esta circunstancia con las empresas suministradoras de alimentos y/o los proveedores que tengan subcontratados. Lamentamos informarles que por parte de Evelop/Orbest no es posible garantizar que otros pasajeros lleven alimentos conteniendo los productos y/o derivados a los que usted sea alérgico o intolerante. Como muestra de nuestra preocupación por su bienestar y previa autorización por su parte, nuestra tripulación informará al resto de pasajeros del vuelo con la intención de evitar el consumo de los productos que puedan ocasionarle cualquier tipo de reacción. Nuestras aeronaves se limpian de forma regular de conformidad con la normativa y usos del sector del transporte aéreo, pero esta limpieza no garantiza la eliminación de dichos alérgenos y los filtros de aire de las citadas aeronaves tampoco han sido diseñados para eliminar tales sustancias, razón por la cual no podemos asegurar su ausencia ni exposición a bordo durante el vuelo y por ello le instamos a tomar las precauciones médicas necesarias en caso de exposición. Todas las comidas especiales disponibles en EVelop/Orbest son las reconocidas por IATA. Para enviar su petición de comidas especiales no dude en rellenar y enviar nuestro formulario siguiente. Les recordamos que el límite para enviar su petición es de 72 horas antes de la salida del vuelo:
For your own safety, we ask that you follow these recommendations: If you suffer from any kind of allergy or intolerance, you must always carry your required medication or injector with you. If you suffer from any kind of food allergy or intolerance, including to nuts, we cannot guarantee that the menu offered is free from them, since it is impossible for Evelop/Orbest to guarantee this with food supply companies and/or their sub-contracted suppliers. We are sorry to inform you that Evelop/Orbest are unable to guarantee whether or not other passengers are carrying foods that contain the products and/or derivatives to which you are allergic or intolerant. As an indication of our concern for your wellbeing and with your prior authorisation, our cabin crew will inform the other passengers on the flight, with the intention of avoiding the consumption of the products that may cause you any kind of reaction. Our aircraft are cleaned regularly in accordance with the regulations for use indicated by the air transport industry, but this cleaning does not guarantee the elimination of allergens, and nor are the air filters in the aforementioned aircraft designed to eliminate said substances. For this reason, we cannot ensure their absence or presence on board during the flight, and so we urge you to take the medical precautions you require in case of exposure. All of the special meals available at Evelop/Orbest are recognised by the IATA [International Air Transport Association]. Please do not hesitate to complete and submit the following form if you would like to request a special meal.
