The primary client base is higher education institutions and the firm would like to continue to develop this client base. However, it is also looking to move into the notfor-profit sector in general, including charities, arts and cultural institutions and global NGOs. The firm now seeks an outstanding individual to fill the role of Vice President with Grenzebach Glier Europe to continue building the firm’s business in the UK, and to expand into new markets where there are opportunities in Europe. Overview of the Consultant (Vice President) Position GG+A is a growing firm, dedicated to providing clients with fundraising expertise. Key Responsibilities • Work
as part of a team or take on lead project manager roles, and support other members of GG+A project team in the UK and Europe
• Maintain
a portfolio of 10-12 active client projects, with at least 4-6 “anchor” clients
• Provide
and direct the full array of the firm’s services to include fundraising programme assessments, strategic planning (feasibility) studies, campaigns, major gift programme planning and execution, staff and volunteer training, and strategic planning
• Both
market and deliver the firm’s strategic consultancy services in the UK and continental Europe, and assume an active role in business development for the UK-based team

• Work
closely with the team in Chicago, and all of the support services provided there
• Ensure
that any business opportunities are identified and pursued with a view to the continuing expansion of GG+A’s relationships with institutions, and with leading practitioners
• Cultivate
relationships with key influencers and decision makers in the UK and European not-for–profit sector

Person Specification Desired Qualifications • Significant
direct fundraising experience with exposure to campaign planning and implementation or equivalent experience gained in a similar environment such as management consultancy. Successful track record working with senior institutional leaders or operating at Board level.

Qualifications • Bachelor’s
degree required; advanced degree preferred

to fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising management, preferably in higher education, academic medicine, arts/ culture and/or other charities, or equivalent.
• Direct
fundraising or capital campaign experience preferred.
