Job Description Main Duties & Responsibilities •
Develop and maintain an excellent knowledge of Norwood services and build relationships with service/development/business managers in order to research, write and submit detailed applications for capital and revenue funds to all relevant grant-making bodies. Be aware of organisational developments and creatively develop proposals to inspire grant makers.
•
Account manage and build relationships with relevant grant-making bodies, ensuring that all donors are canvassed in a relevant way, be it face to face or through a formal proposal, and provide monitoring, evaluating and reporting as necessary. Ensure that all current and potential donors are approached annually through the Trust campaign.
•
Develop good working relationships with Trustees and members of the Trust Networking Advisory Panel to access their networks and to develop them as peer-askers through providing support as appropriate.
•
Undertake research work on grant making Trustees to support the Networking Advisory Panel activities and develop face-to-face relationships with Trust prospects, asking them for high level financial support (or facilitating someone else to make the ask), providing them with the highest possible level of supporter care. Where relevant, make arrangements for prospects and donors to visit the work of Norwood. 4

Maintain and monitor donor profiles and recording systems as well as up to date information about the organisation, services and projects.
•
Work collaboratively with the other Trust fundraisers and income generating members of the fundraising department to achieve the annual budget.
•
Receive regular supervision and attend training as agreed with Business Development Manager for Trusts and Statutory Bids and Tenders and work on any other events or initiatives deemed important by Head of Fundraising
General •
To maintain standard of dress that is appropriate to role and in accordance with the organisation’s dress policy.
•
To maintain confidentiality at all times and to ensure respect for, proper observance of and adherence to Norwood's confidentiality policy for all staff.
•
To attend regular supervision sessions with line manager, regular team meetings and undertake relevant training as and when required.
•
To take all reasonable care of the health and safety of her/himself and of other persons who may be affected by her/his acts or omissions. As regards to any duty or requirement imposed upon the organisation by or under any of the relevant statutory provisions, to co-operate with the organisation as far as it necessary to enable that duty or requirement to be performed or complied with. To report to the Health and Safety Manager either serious risks or your concerns over safety issues.

To work collaboratively with volunteers to ensure that their contribution enhances quality of service provision and support across the organisation.
•
To work at any other Norwood location, as and when required.
•
To undertake any other duties which are consistent with the post.
