Development Director Candidate Information Pack

in partnership with

Letter from the Master Thank you for your interest in St Edmund’s College. I was elected in 2014 with a clear mandate to take the College forward into the next phase of its development. The history of the College in recent decades has been one of expansion and progress, and St Edmund’s is now recognised as one of the most entrepreneurial and forward-thinking colleges in Cambridge. The Fellowship has a clear vision for the future of the College, and we are looking for an exceptional individual to help us deliver that vision. As the College’s first full-time Development Director, you would be instrumental in shaping the future of St Edmund’s. The College, in partnership with the University of Cambridge, attracts the brightest students and academics from around the world. Fundraising is essential to maintaining the College’s and University’s pre-eminent global position, particularly through the development of our buildings and facilities. Success in fundraising will have a transformative impact on the College for many years to come; an impact that spreads well beyond Cambridge and the UK through our international network of alumni. I very much hope that you will want to join me and the Fellowship in being a part of the legacy of St Edmund’s. Matthew Bullock Master of St Edmund's College
