Not Just Buildings This new exhibition by SAlt from South Australia is a visual investigation into the architectural features of Adelaide’s CBD heritage buildings transformed quite unexpectedly into far more personally involved projects. Each of the four Adelaide based artists; Judy Bushby, Julie Haddrick, Francie Mewett and Wendy Thiele selected a place of powerful memories that transformed into personal connections from another time in their lives. Meet the makers between 12noon and 2pm at the SAlt display where members of the group will talk about their 4th and final collaborative exhibition.
This year’s theme is topical, yet open to different interpretations, and could be executed in both traditional designs and contemporary styles. See the wonderful and thought-provoking results of this year’s theme by the finalists and vote for your favourite in Viewers’ Choice. An amazing cash prize pool of $5,500 is on offer including the $500 Viewers’ Choice prize.
