COLLECTION OF QUILTS EVER! Dear Quilters, Ten years ago, an Australian quilt convention to bring the best in the world and the best in quilting from around Australia was just an idea. In those ten years, the Australasian Quilt Convention has established itself as a top notch annual event. AQC boasts a quilt show, where every quilt is hand-picked, a unique range of classes, tutors, presentations, social events and more. This year our convention classes are presented by more international tutors than ever, plus some of the best Australia has to offer. The quilt show focuses on magnificent Australian works and has plenty of international pieces for you to enjoy too. And remember, there are some fantastic evening lectures that anyone can book into. For example, Jennie Rayment from the UK is a quilter, stripper and hilarious entertainer, whose presentation on the Thursday evening will have you in stitches as she talks about her magical manipulations – 3D textile art – while ending up with hardly a stitch on! Pam Holland from South Australia is an amazing quilt artist who travels the world and has won some of the world’s most coveted quilting awards. Hear her amazing story with a focus on photography, quilting and the stories behind the quilts on the Friday evening. So come to AQC – whether you come for an hour, a day, an evening or the entire four days, you’ll love what you find. See you there,
