MARKETING PROMOTION

Direct Mail – Postcards and personal invitations. These will be sent to a database of previous Reed Gift Fair attendees, as well as our relevant Fair Events database. We will also be looking at acquiring new lists and working closely with suppliers to ensure their client database is reached.

At various intervals throughout the fair, Gift HQ will run a program of educational ‘Spotlight’ sessions. Aimed at retailers, our educational program how to guide visitors on fine-tuning their business skills and will create the ultimate retail buying destination to inspire consumers to buy, buy buy! We will also host sessions to advise suppliers and manufacturers on how to better pitch their products and promote their brand. B2B Networking Lounges – new areas on the exhibition floor have been introduced where suppliers can meet with customers in a neutral space over a tea or coffee. Ask the expert - following on from topics presented in the SPOTLIGHT sessions, a number of top business consultants will be available to speak with, one-on-one, in the new Ask the Expert Lounge.

AT THE SHOW: • Lead generation mechanisms (barcode scanner) will be available to capture visitor data (at an additional cost)

Personal letter to previous attendees to include information about activities, and invite to the fair.

• Leading identities from the retail and wholesale/supplier industry will be invited to speak at the event.

A series of Electronic Direct Mail sent out on a fortnightly basis in the 3 month lead up to the event
