This winter why not take part in the Essex Library Service Winter Reading Challenge – which is back for another year. Join mascot Lyra, the curious penguin, on a thrilling quest around the world. On your travels, you’ll meet lots of new animal friends, learn all about them and go on adventures with them along the way. Just like the Summer Reading Challenge, you’ll have your own booklet to fill in as you tackle the challenges. You’ll have lots of choice, as it’s up to you which activities you do. You can take part in the challenge in all Essex libraries.
