About ‘Fundación Exportar’ Fostering Argentine Exports Fundación Exportar is the export promotion agency of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, aimed at fostering the increase and diversification of Argentine exports. In this regard, provides assistance to the business community in their efforts to conquer new markets in order to accomplish the ultimate goal which is that Argentine companies trade products and services worldwide.
About Argentine Economy Argentina is the third largest economy in Latin America, behind Brazil and Mexico. According to IMF data for 2012, its GDP in terms of purchasing power parity reached US$ 751.391million. Its GDP per capita in 2012, measured in purchasing power parity was of US$18.201.

In the prestigious Global Competitiveness Report 20122013 prepared by the World Economic Forum, Argentina is ranked 94th among 144 economies analyzed, and has been placed within the group of 21 developing economies that are ‘in transition to’ the last stage of development: the ‘innovationdriven economies’ (35 developed economies).

In its report about the performance of Free Exchange Market during 2012, the Argentine Central Bank (BCRA) issued preliminary data stating that Argentine exports of business and professional services showed a positive net balance (revenue minus expenses) of 3,100 million dollars during 2012, representing over a twofold increase as compared to the previous year.
Franchising Fundaci贸n Exportar takes part in international exhibitions about Franchising, like: FIF in Mexico and ABF in Brazil, promoting the export of Argentine brands along with the Argentine Association of Brands and Franchises (AAMF).
In Latin America, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela have been exporting franchises for 20 years,
and Argentina was the main exporter in 2012: 113 brands,
while Brazil exported 91 and Mexico 83 brands.

1100 sales points across 56 countries.
One example is the traditional Argentine franchise ‘HAVANNA’, exported since 2005 which is nowadays present in: Costa Rica, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, Mexico, Bolivia and Spain, among others.

HAVANNA products bear the HACCP international certification.
Exports of Argentine franchises also include the ‘FREDDO’ ice-cream shop brand.

Other traditional Argentine franchise exported is: ‘CAFÉ MARTINEZ’
There are more than 100 branches of this traditional Argentine brand distributed in: Argentina, Spain, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay. It was in 1995 when ‘CAFÉ MARTINEZ’ begun to develop a novel concept of own and franchised cafes, where this family company offers its customers a wide range of coffees like: Selected Blend, Brazil, Colombia, Italian Toasted or Decaffeinated, among others.
Another example of an Argentine franchise exported worldwide is the ecological car wash franchise ‘PRONTO WASH’, with more than 300 stores in 30 countries, included a luxury car wash in Kuwait, the largest in its type in the world, a ‘Mega Spa Car’ which has a coffee shop, entertainments, games, VIP lounges and more.

During 2005, the Argentine football Club River Plate exported for the first time its franchise: ‘RIVER EXPORTA MARCA PAIS ARGENTINA’. In 2007 was opened the football club River Plate in Fortaleza, Colombia.
