MECHANICAL INFORMATION

Closing Dates: All decisions on space reservations and ad changes are due by the 10th of the month. Camera ready materials are due by the 15th of the month. Eydis Authentic Living holds the right to run previously approved ads if response is not given within the required time frame. Production Requirements: Camera ready ad material must meet specific specifications, some manipulation is available. Coupons are not allowed. Photos must be 300 dpi at the image size required. Production Fees: There is no charge for initial ad production with two changes, however changes beyond that will be $25 per change. If specific artwork is purchased from a stock photo company, a $20 charge will apply. Payments: All rates are net rates. The first payment is due at the time of signing. A finance service charge of 1.5% per month will be charged to all invoice amounts not paid within 30 days from the invoice date. We accept all major credit cards. Credit card payments are run on the 1st of every month. If the 1st falls on a weekend, the cards will be run the Friday before. There will be a 2.5% service charge for all credit card payments. Any added value promised is based upon availability and in no way affects the contract commitment.

Cancellation Policy: Eydis Authentic Living requires a four week (prior to press) written cancellation notice, the advertiser is responsible for the difference in monthly payments at the time of cancellation. Eydis Authentic Living has a no refund policy. If something is incorrect or missed in the current issue, it will be corrected in the following issue. FILE FORMATS/GRAPHICS: We use the following software versions. If your version exceeds those listed, save your document to be downward compatible: InDesign CS2 or greater, QuarkXPress 6.5, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Acrobat 7 All linked graphics must be included with the document. Please collect for output, and save all fonts along with ad, images and logos to a folder or medium to be sent.

LINE SCREEN: 175 BLEED : Build ad to trim and extend bleed .125” beyond each side of the document page.

SAFETY MARGINS: Allow 3/8” from trim edges except for spreads, which require 5/8” safety from side trim and 1/8” gutter safety.

MAGAZINE TRIM SIZE: 8.375” x 10.875”

PROOFS: Please supply a digital proof calibrated to SWOP print specifications that represent the final digital file at 100%. If a proof is not provided, we cannot beheld responsible for materials that run incorrectly, as final output will be compared to an internal proof only.

MEDIA: Macintosh formatted disks may be provided in the following formats: CD-ROM or DVD. Please label all media with publication name, company name and contact information.

IMAGE RESOLUTION:

All payments are due on the 1st of the month. A continual $10 late fee will be applied to all clients every 30 days past due. We accept major credit cards with a 2.5% service charge. Contracts become non-cancelable after story runs.

Images should be provided at 300 dots per square inch (DPI) to insure quality reproduction. Web images are not acceptable.
