an exceptional assortment of designer sox,” says Brand, “including butter-soft cashmere styles that make perfect holiday gifts. Along with leather belts, watches, wallets, cuff links and the popular pocket square, Harleys offers a comprehensive line of accessories to complement any outfit.” And gentlemen, don’t forget your proper grooming habits. Get that executive haircut, use a refreshing scrub on your face and finish with a great smelling cologne. Your hair and skin should be an integral part of your complete fashion statement. FOR WOMEN Red is definitely the color of the moment, and perfect for holiday looks. Pair it with cream, black or very pale pink. It’s easy to turn to your basic black evening routine, but step outside the box and try something new. Jewelry is always the perfect choice to dress up any outfit, and this year we are seeing long necklaces and lariats with charms and fetishes. According to Faye Wetzel, founder/owner of FAYE’S (with stores in Brookfield and Mequon), “It’s especially modern to combine gold and silver tones together. Because it’s the holidays, you can also sprinkle in as much sparkle as you can grab from your jewelry box. Find that jeweled choker and you will makes a grand entrance at any party.” Wetzel recommends wearing multiple bracelets as well. “You don’t need to worry about what to layer – it all works. With bracelets, it’s a total arm party,” she explains. Earrings are the final touch, with vintage-inspired and chandelier lengths in vogue. And speaking of sparkle, there are plenty of great metallic sequined looks out right now for women, especially in a knee-length skirt, either A-line or pencil, or a blazer. Complement your look with a sequined clutch. If you’re a casual girl, go with dark skinny jeans and fancy them up with a couple of easy additions. Another well-known and popular fundraising event, Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk drew over 12,000 participants this year and raised almost $1 million. Gifts to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin by individuals can have a grand impact, no matter the gift’s size. Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin recently introduced a new blue and white license plate featuring the familiar silhouetted children from the hospital’s logo. The license plate may be purchased for $15 plus an additional annual $25 to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Foundation, an organization that offers support and funding to “research and critical care for the sickest kids and babies” as well as “community initiatives designed to keep kids healthy,” according to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin website.
