Rowe Pottery From our hands… to your home Located in the heart of downtown Cambridge Wisconsin for over 40 years. What began as a small scale pottery store has evolved into a pure artisan studio and manufacturing facility handcrafting functional pottery for the home. At Rowe we celebrate the handmade process, the materials we use and most importantly the people behind the products we create. Our new location at 110 East Main Street highlights our local artists allowing visitors to view the entire pottery making process and visit with the artists while shopping our company store. It is such a unique experience to see how many hands touch each piece of pottery during the process. Our master potters Ric and John each have over 30 years of throwing experience, their expertise brings the quality to each piece, that our customers have grown to expect. While you’re here, be sure to check out our decorator Lore, she is the talent behind all of the Rowe Pottery patterns and custom work. She hand decorates each piece, making them truly one of a kind. As the holidays approach the studios are bustling with activity. To make Roasted Leg of Lamb: Heat oven to 400 F. In bowl, whisk olive oil, raspberry balsamic glaze, rosemary and mustard; set aside. Make small incisions in lamb and insert garlic slices. Rub olive oil mixture over lamb. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Transfer to roasting pan fitted with rack. Add onions; pour water into bottom of pan. Roast 80-90 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145 F for medium-rare, adding water to pan as needed to avoid scorching and onions drying out. Transfer lamb to carving board and tent with foil. To make Gravy: Place roasting pan on stovetop over medium-high heat; stir in flour. Whisk in wine; boil 1-2 minutes, or until reduced by half. Whisk in chicken stock and raspberry balsamic glaze. Add rosemary; bring to boil and simmer 8-10 minutes, or until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with lamb.
