Rowe Pottery

A New Spin On Tradition 2018 will be a big year in the history of Rowe Pottery…Bev Semmann, owner of Rowe since 2013 is excited to see the business grow and revitalize along side it’s home community, the small village of Cambridge. When she purchased the business in 2013 it was struggling, high overhead, shrinking sales and a shaky economy all contributed to the problems, but she had a vision how this brand could withstand its troubles and grow to be strong again. That vision is becoming a reality as Bev has seen the company grow over the past 5 years and now is starting on a new path of success. In Spring of 2017 Rowe Pottery purchased a 100 year old signature building on Main Street in Cambridge to consolidate their two locations and create a destination retail store. Their goal is to bring the artistry to the customer in our new space says Bev. Continued on page 38

The ink used in her art is alcohol-based, so it dries fast as you apply it to non-porous surfaces like glass, metal, tile or plastic. The ink blends on the surface to create free-flowing, abstract, marbled effects. You can view and purchase her art at Serendipity Fine Gifts & Home Décor at 600 South Main Street in West Bend, WI.
