Eymund Diegel
Eymund Diegel is an Urban Planner specialized in the mapping and analysis of changing urban, rural, and natural habitat systems. His expertise includes environmental and transportation planning, infrastructure network mapping, siting studies for new industrial facilities, polluted site cleanups, wetlands and ecosystem remediation, rapid urbanization management, and sustainable metropolitan structure planning. His current research work is focused on designing natural open space systems for our cities and regions to help with water pollution and urban climate change. For fun, using old maps, he likes making the invisible visible, by showing children how to draw out in chalk the old streams hidden in their playgrounds. He is the Chief Forensics Officer for Gowanus CSI (Creek Scene Investigation) which works with child detectives to figure out why your basement floods.
